Press Your Luck: 2010 Edition. It is what it is

If you want to have a video game version of Press Your Luck that's as authentic towards the show as possible, this is is. I've seen no reviews of it anywhere, but I had a free game coming from Target due to their sale, so I figured what the hell. It's fun, it's cheaply produced, it's...

Sarah Palin resigns as Gov. of Alaska. Stay tuned for the scandal

First off, congrats to Gov. Palin for being the first person in her family to know when to pull out. She just announced her resignation. She claims it's because she can do more good in the private sector. Some are saying this is her idea of a good way to get ready for the 2012 Election...

What is the minimum number of people you would need to fake your death?

OK, so the rumors are already flying that Michael Jackson faked his death. Presumably he's in the Bahamas now surfing with Elvis and John F. Kennedy. It got me thinking: how many people would be required to actually get away with faking your death? I figured around 12 to 15: Two to four EMTs...

NWers: Price Match the Best Buy Deal at Fred Meyers

Yo, a heads up that Fred Meyers has a pretty good price-match policy, and so any game in the Best Buy ad is able to be Price Matched. Sadly, this is limited to the games in the ad, but I was able to get Infinite Undiscovery and Devil May Cry 4 for the 360 and Soul Caliber 4 for the PS3 for $10.

Collectors beware: L.O.L. is online-exclusive no more.

It would seem that Agetec decided that it wasn't the best idea to have L.O.L. be sold only through it's online store. I just came back from Wal Mart, where they have a section of cheap $10 video games now. Among them? About 20 copies of L.O.L. So another potential rare DS game bites the dust.

Anyone else think we should go to war with North Korea?

So the UN gave North Korea a stern warning to not launch a missile this weekend, and they did anyway. Today they celebrated the launch, which by all accounts wasn't even successful. "The reclusive state has threatened to boycott six-nation nuclear disarmament talks and restart a plant that...
