I generally get sniper rifles, grenade launchers, and side arms. While my preferred load out in crucible is: SMG or Scout Sidearm (or Uriel's gift if the entire opposing team is killing me from 1000 yards away) Sword I don't get enough swords...and smgs & sidearms feel like garbage in PVE.
