    Divinity II: Ego Draconis (XBox 360) $19.99 @ Gamestop.com

To be fair, Alan Wake's ending wasn't really the ending of the game... Just the ending of Episode 6 with several more to go as DLC. But, yeah, it still sucked.

    Direct2Drive Spring Sale - Week 4

Pirates! is fantastic. For $5 it's a steal. It doesn't quite live up to the original, I don't think, but it's a solid open-ended romanticized version of piracy (think Errol Flynn) that is an absolute blast to play. Can't recommend it enough.

    Direct2Drive Civilization 4 Complete Edition: $9.95

I'm the reverse. I like Civ, but Civ:Rev was a lot more fun for me. Less micromanagement, and quick-and-dirty gameplay to speed thing along. This is definitely based on different tastes, though. Both games are absolutely spectacular.

    Steam - Square-Enix/Eidos Weekend Sale - Batman/Just Cause/FFXI

Batman is still $12.xx at Target. No reason to hold out for a Steam deal if you have a Target nearby that keeps a decent stock. All the Targets in my area still have a ton of them.

    Target Clearance Thread XVI

Yeah. $62 Beatles RB for me as well. I got the last one, aside from the one I sold to a mom shopping for something for her son. Kind of blew me away to see it drop like that so quickly.

Gamersgate Sale - King's Bounty $7.77 and more - 20% off code works too.

Steam had this on sale last week for about ten bucks, as well as the newer one for $10 (normally $40). Both are absolutely STELLAR games, and I love them much more than Heroes of Might and Magic, thanks to more of an emphasis on RPG elements.

Update: Free theme still isn't updated to premium.

Xbox Live DOTW: The Maw plus DOTD: Battlefield 1943

The free theme can be re-downloaded for the Premium one, now, apparently. According to Major Nelson.

Xbox Live DOTW: The Maw plus DOTD: Battlefield 1943

Wow...It's nice to see so many jolly people who appreciate it when they're given stuff. Truly the greatest of Christmas spirit! -Eyeroll-

Direct2Drive 24 Days of Christmas Sale - All previous daily deals active

Wow! Clearly you've never read anything on the expansion packs. Swords alone is worth the price of admission. It's practically a whole new game of Civilization with the additions to gameplay. Not only that but it has Firaxis made mods that ARE whole new games, including a Master of Orion-style...

Direct2Drive 24 Days of Christmas Sale - All previous daily deals active

I picked up the RE5 deal, but I'm kind of bummed. In retrospect, I wish I would've picked up the console version.

Grim Fandango (PC) - Yeah, I know

Lucasarts is slowly releasing their back library of adventure games over Steam. Give it a bit and I expect it'll be up.

    GameStop.com Pre-Owned Box & Manual Guarantee - WINNERS ANNOUNCED

I would like to get Onechinabra, because I don't think I could justify ever paying full price for it, yet I feel compelled to get it.

Trick R Treat finally here!!! 10/6 Where are the deals??!!!

Again, I think it just depends on what you're wanting out of it, and what you want from a horror movie. This movie isn't about scares... It's about recreating a sense of Halloween that most have either forgotten or never knew, and making something entertaining out of it. In this sense, it...

Trick R Treat finally here!!! 10/6 Where are the deals??!!!

I think a lot of this "classic" talk depends on your view of the holiday. To me, the quintessential Halloween movie is Something Wicked This Way Comes. It sort of embodies all the great things about fall, and being a kid, and does a great job of sort of recapturing all that. Trick R Treat does...

Trick R Treat finally here!!! 10/6 Where are the deals??!!!

Having just finished it, I'm gladly putting it in the "classic" category. I'm sure a lot of the hype is a backlash to the constant stream of splatterpunk crap (along with its troubled history), but this movie was certainly the best Halloween-based flick I've ever seen, and it deserves the praise...

War Week & CAG Contest - 5 Weeks of $5 Downloadable PC Games at Direct2Drive

$15 for three of Sid Meier's games (CivIV, Pirates, and Railroads) seems to be borderline illegal. Anyone who considers themselves a gamer better own at least one of those...

War Week & CAG Contest - 5 Weeks of $5 Downloadable PC Games at Direct2Drive

For five dollars there's absolutely no reason not to. It's an absolutely stellar strategy must-have. Bear in mind, however, that in all of CivIV's greatness, the Beyond the Sword expansion pack makes it exponentially better. So if you buy it and enjoy it, I HIGHLY recommend snagging, at minimum...

War Week & CAG Contest - 5 Weeks of $5 Downloadable PC Games at Direct2Drive

I agree about graphics and physics, probably more than anybody considering how old I am, but they certainly add to the fun for me. The game is practically a 1 to 1 ripoff of Diablo, and so that sort of game has to appeal to you. But assuming you like that game, and can get over the fact that...
