Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Resident Evil 5, is it only the 360 version on clearance? I thought I saw both versions being reported, but only saw the 360 on the first post.

Edit: MW2 Harded I saw on clearance for the PS3 also.

Anyone picking up MUA2 needs to know that all DLC for the game has been removed from Live due to licensing issues. This could also affect online play as those who have downloaded DLC cannot play with those who have not downloaded DLC. Annoying, but not a deal breaker for me at $15.

Just got back from a trip to the Ghetto Target in Inglehood (next to Hollywood Park). Of course, they had nothing on clearance that I was specifically looking for - COD MW2 HE for either system, Beatles Rockband for PS3, etc. but I did pick up the last full priced ($39.99) GTA IV Episodes from Liberty City, hopefully to price adjust at another Target. They also had 1 copy of Fire Emblem DS for $14.98, so the OP's price of 20.98 can be adjusted on that one. Since I already got it for sub-$10 I left it.

The other Target, close to my office (Fox Hills mall) had NOTHING remotely good on clearance, just crap games and Wiimote/Nunchuck skins in an awful, tacky yellow and blue for $7.48. FAIL.

Anyway, that said, I want to hook some LA CAGs (SD/FW guys can go themselves...and there's only room in the westSIIIIIIDE for 1 el Hoardo - ME:lol up with the intel on the Inglewood store (again, next to Hollywood Park near N/W of the corner of Crenshaw and Century - yeah that's right I'm talkin DA HOOD baby!).

That location had as of 8:05 this morning:

These were near the game section, on an endcap by the pharmacy right next to the construction plastic:
Beatles Rockband full bundle X360 x2 = $62.98 (why couldn't there be 1 GD PS3 version...WHY!?!?!?)
Band Hero full bundle X360 = $49.98

These were in the middle of the store in a weird location, on an endcap by CDs, DVDs, Blus etc. - (a few copies also could be found in the game section on a clearance endcap)

DS Walking game x1 (beat up box, but looked complete/sealed) = $7.48
Shawn White Snowboarding x20 = $4.98

Ghostbusters, Transformers:ROTF, Batman: AA all for PC, didn't check prices but they had them on clearance.

Just got back from the Target on Military Highway, I missed out on the last copy of Band Hero @ $49.xx (.

However, I did pick up the last Beatles Rock band at the $62.xx price. I don't care for the Beatles, but I've never had any of the music games before so for just the band set seemed like a good price and hopefully I can get a good deal on one of the other music games.

I wanted to speed out to Greenbriar to check there, but not enough time before class.

Also saw half a dozen copies of Resident Evil 5 $9.xx, a few copies of Walking Trainer $12.xx, Call of Duty:WaW $7.xx, one copy of Beatles Rockband $62.xx.

I know I should have just bought the 360 bundles I saw (Band Hero x1, Beatles x2) this morning, but just having to try and trade those for a PS3 version of Beatles or whatnot would be such a damn hassle. Shipping that thing would be ridiculous price-wise. I just hope some local CAG gets them.

After a slow period for Target clearance it's great to read everybody finding good deals.

Sadly I haven't scene any MW2 editions anywhere but my friend picked up two 360 Beatiles RB sets for the reported price at one local Target. One for me one for my friend. Also in Grand Rapids I've found one PS3 Beatles RB set again for the reported price @ the 60th and Kalamazoo location that I left that I almost bought but now I'm glad I didn't because my friend came though on the XB version. GG f/ everybody.

Hoping to be able to find a Tekken 5 drop below $10 next week as many places I've been to have multiple copies for $14.XX

Weeks like this are why it's no big deal about posting locations-- it seems like when there's a big week with lots of drops, it means GET THEE TO A TARGET! Clearance stock is so YMMV (and El Hoardo is so good at swooping in) that it's often irrelevant. If you've seen these games at your Target , go check it out!

That said, lots of good deals for me... I saw one $49.99 360 Band Hero but passed it up since pretty much all my music games are on the PS3 and I really don't need a totally separate set of instruments; that said it PAINED the CAG in me to pass up a complete bundle for $49.99!

Ended up with Personal Trainer Walking for $12.48, Fire Emblem DS for $7.48, Midnight Club 360 for $7.48, and Grand Slam Tennis for $12.48 (been waiting for that one for WEEKS to finally move from $34.98). Not sure about keeping Fire Emblem or MC (already have on the PS3 but wanted to grab this to possibly return).

Wish I had time to check out the other Target farther out since I think they've had one PS3 Beatles bundle left... it'll probably be gone by tonight. (assuming it was still even there)

When there at noon today excited at what you had all found and there wasn't anything left but Monster vs Aliens and G-Force for the Wii at 9.99. Everything else disappeared from Sunday. I got the last Beatles LE in Cedar Rapids, IA (either location) for PS3. Now I just need to figure out what to do with it. All I really need/want is the guitar since the guitar from the rockband kit I already have decided that it didn't want the accelerometer to work anymore so you have to hit select to use star power rather than tilting the guitar. That said if anyone wants the new kit I got today minus guitar + a guitar at 90% effectiveness I'll sell it to you for cost of the new kit (~$68). I checking into gamestop trade ins and they give nothing for the game, and don't take instruments. Smaller game trade store here will take the guitars and mics but not drums, and don't give anything for them.

They still had THREE RB:Beatles full bundles for the ~$62 price (I won't buy that game)

I am a little disappointed that I missed out on the Band Hero bundle for $50 though! I really wanted that new set of drums... Oh Well...

I saw Fire Emblem for $7.48, Street Fighter 4 PC $5.04, RB Beatles for both systems at $62, Band Hero 360 for $50, and a bunch of other crap. I missed out on the MW2 HE I guess, I know there was a few left last week. I am debating if I want the Beatles set or not.
