Got a PS3 slim (CECH-2100) that I really only use as a media player. Is it worth it to get a super slim? FWIW I pretty much never play disc based games or use the drive so the noise/rattling isn't an issue. Is the power consumption reduced enough to make it worthwhile?

Play-Asia has the best price I can find by quite a wide margin. Any place offer a better price? Keep in mind they still go for a fairly high price in Japan. I will be using this mainly for DVD's and just a handful of games. If I can't find a good deal then I think I will just get a DVD player.
