When did the History Channel become the redneck channel?

And now The Science Channel has begun to air science fiction entertainment (i.e. Firefly). It's only a matter of time before niche channels can't make a profit without airing shows not pertaining to their core audience or showing tons of infomercials.

MLB The Show 11 Early Release and 29.99 at Target!

The day before this thread I was in my local Target (LI, NY) and noticed a crapload (at least a dozen) of them on the clearance shelf. I moved them around not noticing the clearance sticker covering the barcode to see if there were any good clearance titles. I went back the next night and they...

    Kirby's Epic Yarn™

I played one level at the NY Comic-Con. It's pretty fun and looks amazing, although a bit easy. I can see how people are comparing it to New Super Mario Bros Wii, as one can interact with the other player and create problems for them (instead of cooperating). The production quality is top...

Woot (and other) video game shirts

I purchased two shirts from Red Bubble a while back and the quality is not as good as Tee Fury, in my opinion.

Transformers Toys - Deals & Discussion

http://www.newyorkcomiccon.com/ A warning, this thing usually gets super crowded and you may want to purchase your tickets beforehand. The first year they had it the FDNY had to come in because there were too many people.

    microSD card - Preferably 16GB?

Prices are finally going down on this. Buy.com has a lot of choices for $30-35. The cheapest I've seen was $25, but with S&H & tax it bumped it up to a little over $30.

    Tony Hawk Ride for $30

http://www.1saleaday.com/ For today only (or until supplies last) '1 Sale A Day' is offering 'Tony Hawk Ride' for the three home consoles for $30 each (plus $5 S&H, and sales tax in NY). I have ordered stuff from this site before and have not had a problem yet.

    Lips: I love the 80's w/microphone £14.98, or $22.18

I'm pretty sure I had three Lips mics going in TB:RB and GH5 at a party. (It was difficult to set up and tell as most of the people playing were drunk and I could not keep track of their actions.)

Super Street Fighter IV - Arcade Edition DLC Out Now & Retail Disc Out Now!

Last I read is that it will be included in the special edition version for Japan (if they finish it in time). Chances are it will be released here on DVD at some time. The previous special edition wasn't too bad; you got a pretty good portion of the soundtrack on CD and the anime. It should...

Where can I find TurboGrafx-16 games?

Yeah, TG-16 had a crapload of shumps. And the soundtracks on so many games were very good. Especially the CD games. Reminds me, I have to pick up the new Ys remake on the DS, hopefully with the soundtrack CD. Another favorite was BravoMan. It was a bad game, but a cool concept. I remember...
