I guess this one has lights that show when it's done charging? but it's the same as having something like an iPod dock, it's not just laying there on the shelf or the ground., mostly convenience & cosmetics.

I literally fashioned a charging dock out of a broken over-the-door hanger and an old phone charger. But this one is MUCH prettier and can neatly hold my controllers.

Uh you can get charging docks for around the same price on ebay so I dont see it as a good deal
