Thinks it's available at Best Buy right now for that price with free shipping. I ordered one there this morning. Figured the $.60 in tax wouldn't kill me :)

It will be $9.99 on Amazon tomorrow.
Thanks! Added Bram Stoker's Dracula for only $5 more.
Anybody know if the Blu-Ray standalone copy has the alternate ending and special features? I ask because when I redboxed it, it didn't.

If so, I'm down for this and Rocky Balboa. Easily.
so how are these deals going to work will they be lightning deals, or do they just adjust to the given price above at the specific time and youd just add to your cart?
They are special deals during that time frame u may have to go to the deal section to get them. I know the other day gran torino when i looke dfor it said $7.99 when it was supposed to be on special for $5 and then i wnet to the area withthe limited time specials and it was lsited as $5 there.

also cheers cuplix on keeping this thread updated and active, its appreciated !

edit: right on will do i havent paid much attention to the movie deals been in the video game section...but im done with there for now LOL

you guys think i should get dark knight as well as batman begins, or if only one which would you recommend?

i havent seen either of them last Batman movie i saw was in the 90's, but reviews look good on both

If you can get them at the $5 price point i'd definitely get both because Dark Knight is a continuation of Batman Begins. They can stand alone, but Ithink it's best to watch one then the other.
Jeez, I dont wanna wake up at 8:30am just to buy this movie during the lightning deal. WHY AMAZON WHY
Yeah I know, let's hope it's at a decent price when I plan on combining it with NHL 11 and a few other blurays lol.
It depends on your tastes, honestly. Both are very good movies. I tend to think "Batman Begins" is more of Batman's movie, whereas "The Dark Knight" is more The Joker's movie and Batman is almost a secondary character.

I am definitely getting the two Batman movies at 4:30. I never saw Dark Knight so this is a great way to see it for the first time. Don't think I saw Batman Begins either. I only ever saw the first one (that is, the first ever Batman movie in the 80's I think?).

I usually say thanks OP but Cuplix you are the man for keeping this list updated with the frequent changes. I always come here and just check your list before buying anything.
Picked up Predators, Predator and The Crazies.

Just picked Harry Potter 1-6 (for the wife but told after the $39.99 sale but it is for a christmas present so $60 isn't bad), Hangover, Blindside and Halloween (OG version).

No, This Is Spinal Tap hasn't been released in Bluray Criterion ... yet. I will be the first to buy if it was.

Just got home from a hockey game and went to Wal-mart to start looking through the stacks of blu-rays and ps3 games. Managed to find Silence of the Lambs, Departed, Pineapple Express, Heat, Bull Durham, and some other blu's I wanted plus Ratchet and Clank. Needless to say I walked up to the check-out line very excited, having avoided all the lines and still gotten most of what I wanted. Until the cashier told me black friday deals ended at midnight and it was now 1 and everything would be full price. fuck how did I miss that important little detail?

Hopes - shattered
Dreams - crushed

My only chance of getting any of those anytime soon for that cheap is probably Amazon coming back with even stronger deals for Cyber Monday.

Any chance that might happen? Would love to see more blu's hit the $5-7 dollar price point as there seemed to be very few during black friday week that I was interested in other than Superbad and the Batman movies. Wish they would have matched more of wal-mart's deals or that wal-mart kept the deals going through saturday at least.

Yeah I was hoping the walmart deals would run through Satrday too. I got a few $2 DVDs at the one Wal-mart picking up the DC aniamted movies, but I wanted to hit up the walmart on the other side of town tommorrw. Damn.
How much was Pineapple Express at walmart?? shit
wouldn't have been surprised if it was one of the $5 blu's.

walmart had a bunch of blu's that I was surprised to find in the $5 blu section.
This is true, but its still an awesome film, well worth the price.
Oh definitely. If someone hasn't seen the film it is a must. I have 2 copies of the Fox/Lorber and decided to hold off because it doesn't seem the film looks that much better but now looking at the extras (the interviews) I'm tempted just because I love the film that much.

So yeah, even though this isn't the best quality blu-ray if you haven't seen the movie you need to. It is one of my favorite movies of all time. (my initial post was intended more to those who have it already, which I should have clarified)
