100 ft. Ethernet Cable for Cheap?

I need a 100 ft. cable for Xbox Live. I would like to get for 20 bucks, but I realize that's probably not possible. Also, could somebody tell me what type of cable (cat-5, crossover, patch, etc.) I need also, I would be most grateful.

I agree. We made one in class and it took less then 5 min. Only problem is that you need the tools and the cable.
If you dont have the tools, just buy it off newegg or if u have a frys electronics near you. buy it there.

I'd second Newegg. I bought a long cable from there before for pretty cheap, and it shipped across the country in like 2-3 days with the cheapest shipping. They process orders FAST! I remember the shipping only being $2 or something though rather than the $5-6 in the link above.
