$149 300 GB Maxtor hard drive at Staples YMMV

Jenn and I dropped by Staples after going to Wal-Mart and the only deal they had going were the 300 GB Maxtor Hard Drives with 16Mb buffers.

Not necessarily at Cheap Ass deal, but a definitely a good deal for someone looking for a large hard drive. That's $0.50 a gig...

BUT!!! I noticed on the sale paper that it ends today! Maybe you can go tomorrow and hit up the deal, but I'm not sure. And it's possible that it's YMMV. I don't know if these sales are universal or not.

Here's a Seagate 300 MB drive for $90, albeit a 8MB buffer, for $110 AR. I think there's probably even better deals out there.

Yeah, sorry. This isn't that great of a deal. Unless you consider an extra 8 MB worth paying $50 extra for.
