I've heard of nothing about this sale.
Sounds like a ymmv clearance .
Their online catalog is completely different than retail don't bother trying to find it online.
And their clearance is done on a club by club basis . So even if you call the club and give them the UPC or probably won't help. The price in their system will be the same as it was before clearance .
The sign on it will have the clearance. Only way to check such a thing is trust an employee to actually go look at a sign on the shelf and report back or go yourself.

Sadly that's the only info I have because the tag was all that was left. The date on the tag was 5/1 though.

That could mean a couple different things .
They date the end time on rebates, which this wasn't, or the start of clearance , for each clearance interval .
