the 16gb iPod Touch (2nd gen) is $230 on Amazon

the 16gb Zune HD MSRP is $220

any deals on these? maybe a free gift card w/ purchase?

got my 16gb zune HD for a $100 from a friend, absolutely love it. Like its interface over the ipod if the ipod's is anything like the iphone's.
 
If you intend to use the device strictly as an audio and/or video player, get the Zune. If you want to be able to play games and do other tasks, including multimedia, get the iPod.
 
Every once and a while Dell will have a 20% off electrnoics, bringing it down to 187 +tax. Of course cause that same discount does not apply to apple products.

Really? I always thought Apple products were excluded from those coupons. Double check the fine print.

nope it clearly states that Apple mp3 players and others are included. I was surprised myself
