just try it and argue.
ps3 does play blu-rays therefore a ps3 = a blu-ray player = you can use that coupon.

unless the coupon excludes ps3s

I just got the same coupon in the mail today and was reading the fine print:

Excludes Pioneer Elite; Xbox 360 HD DVD players; all HD DVD and Blu-ray computer drives; special order, clearance, demo and open-box items; Gift Cards; taxes.

No mention of a restriction on PS3s. Worth a try perhaps. Guess we'll find out how people do starting on the 25th. Good luck if you do.:)

Except that you don't have to apply for a credit card and take a hard hit on your credit report, and this deal may not be applicable to PS3 and if it is the discount on the 40gb model is $80 rather than a $100. Other than that, yeah. It is the exact same deal, so thanks for pointing it out.
 
I would think that you would definitely have a case to argue since they exclude the 360 add on. If they were to say "The PS3 is classified as video game hardware, not a BluRay player" then you should point out that they exclude the 360 drive, and that is video game hardware too, so if they specifically exclude that and not the PS3, one would assume the PS3 is eligible.
