Yeah where is that Toys R Us ad? I also passed on pre-ordering because I remembered the $25 gift card deal they did with Galaxy 1. Looks like Fry's will have it for 39.99 which is still preferable to having to wait an extra week to get it from amazon (plus it's $50 upfront with them).
