I finally bit and picked up a PSP-3000 for $99.99 as a backup for UMD playing. I figure they are about to disappear so I'd rather own a backup system now.

I was even happier to score a new sealed copy Calvin & Hobbes three volume hardback collection for $50 (lists at $175, normally found around $120).

On Friday, I got Dishonored from the MS Store, free, using the $25 store credit I got from the Halo 4 preorder offer.

On Saturday, I hit the MS Store fire sale and got Rage, Tiger Woods/Master's Champion Edition, and Deus Ex for $10 each. Used a MS Store $10 credit on this transaction, lowering the cost to $6.66 per game.

On Sunday, I got XCOM from Amazon for $25.

On Monday, I got The Witcher 2 for $9.99 from Gamestop.com, and Dark Souls for $15 from NewEgg.

Totaled 7 new games for $70, plus tax in some cases, plus $3 shipping in the case of The Witcher 2. Five of them were 2012 releases, with two coming out since September 1.

Also picked up three copies of Forza Horizon for friends at $15 each (used two MS store credits to lower two of those to $5 each), and also got Dishonored and Borderlands 2 for friends at $25 each. That's five more games for $15 each after discounts, and every one was released September 1 or later.

The only "regrets" I have are not getting the new Ghost Recon game and Dead Island GOTY from the MS Store for $10 each. By the time I decided to pull the trigger on them, they were sold out. Oh well, between the seven bargain games, the new retail games I've bought in the last six weeks, and giving copies of Forza to friends (which will get me playing that game again), it's not like I'll be lacking for things to do with my 360.
 
This was a pretty good Black Friday for me. I hadn't bought anything all year (except Mass Effect 3 and Resident Evil 6) because I was planning to do most of my shopping on Black Friday (and honestly there weren't many games that interested me).

My goal this year was to buy Dishonored and Spec Ops. That's it. However as the deals rolled in I ended up getting:

I was pretty surprised with my haul, I had absolutely no intention of buying this many games. I'm actually surprised I jumped on Forza Horizon, but with it going for $15 on the MS Store I downloaded the demo to try it out and fell in love instantly. I couldn't help myself. And when I saw that XCOM was going for $25 as a lightning deal I had to jump on it, since I played the old 1994 version of XCOM to death.

Well, I guess I'm going to have a busy few months ahead of me! :lol:
