I felt the deals were crap this year, there was no retailer that was offering free shipping on cheap, single games, so I didn't buy much. Best buy now has a shipping requirement of $25.  Amazon also raised their shipping limit to $35 which is out of range for the 29.99 games and they pretty much took away the option to add filler items so again, I didn't buy from them this year. There was no free shipping on lightning deals. Not paying for prime either.  Not paying outrageous shipping prices on games. No best buy close enough to do store pickup. Stores gotta step up and offer free shipping with no minimums if they want my business.

I pretty much have the same views as this person. I didn't feel like there was anything extremely worthwhile on sale that I absolutely needed to buy. So I didn't buy much. Not to mention that the removal of free shipping dissuaded me from buying other movies and cheaper items that I might have bought. The only things I did end up buying was a couple of movies from Best Buy:

The Tourist - DVD - $2.00.

Pacific Rim - Blu - $7.99.

Got The Tourist for my girlfriend since she likes Jolie as an actress and I had wanted to see Pacific Rim and figured I'd just grab it. I did want to grab the Game of Thrones Blu ray sets (Seasons 1 and 2) for $20 each, but they were all sold out at my Best Buy.

Made out way better than I expected this year.  Didnt see much I wanted leading up to BF, then the GF sale treated me well and I was lucky enough to get the target zelda deal :lol:  And because of that I managed to save 91 from my Gamestop totals because I traded in my old 3ds xl I had towards the sale.  Only regrets were I didnt get GTA V (sold out by the time I could get to walmart) and wish I got that Soul Hackers deal for 10 on Amazon.

Edit - Forgot I also had another 51 in Gamestop credit.
