I don't believe you do need to use a CC for the Moola games, however some boosters would require the CC due to them being offers completed for $$ .. you might need to verify your account via a text though, I never did that so someone else can confirm or deny that part.

You can't receive bonuses without having your account verified first. To verify your account, you have to give them your cell phone number, and they send you a text message with a verification code. You enter it on the site, and then your account is verified.

You won't get any spam, or "unexpected calls" because of this.

It's worth verifying your account so that you can get search and win bonuses.
