360 Slim Intercooler

Curious if anyone has any insight as to whether an intercooler is worth investing in for the slim models.

Is it beneficial? Do more harm than good? Really contribute nothing at all?

I had an intercooler on my fat box that I purchased in 2007 from day one and it lasted me four years before before finally slapping me in the face with its indignant red lights. Better track record for lifespan than several of my friends have had the unfortunate experience of having.

Just curious if I should even bother for my new baby.

I don't own a slim, but from what i've heard microsoft acknowledged the overheating problem and supposedly fixed it
