is there any way to buy  a game if theres no room on your 3ds? I need to find the 32 gb cards i bought latst month for my 3ds, but im pretty sure last time i tried buying a game it wouldn't let me finish the purchase  since the card was full

also, can you buy games for the Wii u online? I need to get my Wii-U out of storage but till then i was wondering if i could buy stuff if there was a good sale. I saw something about their throwback sale on facebook so im glancing at this and the wii-u sals thread

Can't he delete something and purchase and then he will be able to download everything once he has a bigger card
I'm fairly certain Eldritch was joking. You can buy a game and just not download it until later. The next time he logs into the E-Shop, it gives you the option to re download the game onto the new SD card.

If you don't have room on your SD card for it right then, you can't even buy the game. You HAVE to make room for it before doing anything else.
I stand corrected. You guys must buy a lot on the E-Shop. I have 20 or so indie games and Virtual Console releases on a 32 gb and never experienced that problem before.

Of course.

Have you tried that when your card is full? Does not work.

If the game is available on the online store, would that bypass the size limits?
You can purchase it on the web store and get a redeem code, so yes, I'm going to have to do that with Prime Trilogy. Glad it's an option for some games but the fact you can't make purchases on the system without having the theoretical space available is so absurd. Every time Nintendo seems to do something right with online, they fuck it up with 3 more archaic and nonsensical limitations.

Stupid question, but where do you purchase an eshop game online? I feel like I've looked all over the site and can't find an option to actually buy the game you're looking at.

Here's the games in the Throwback Sale: http://www.nintendo.com/eshop/offers#throwback-sale

Here are all of the eShop games available to purchase off of Nintendo.com: http://www.nintendo.com/games/game-guide#filter/wii+u&3ds|-|-|-|-|descend|releaseDate|-|-|-|-|-|1

Kid Icarus Game Boy is very short, but fun. Worth $2 for sure. This sale inspired me to buy a physical copy of Uprising which I am thoroughly enjoying. It's criminal that I haven't played either of these two until now given that I love the original so, so much.

Kid Icarus on the NES was great (but evil).  I'll probably pick up the GB version.

I mean to pick up Uprising, but 25 is just too steep for me.

Where did you get the physical copy? It's sold out everywhere I look and way overpriced on amazon and ebay

I bought mine used at a brick and mortar GameStop a few days ago. They said they just got it in that day. It came complete with Club Nintendo inserts and everything. No stand of course, but I've been fine just sitting in a comfy chair and "curling up" so to speak and resting the 3DS against my legs.

If it had been cart only I would have just got the digital release. I'd recommend doing a search on GameStop.com and calling around if it's 'low stock'. This game is rare but at this point I think there's still some more Nintendo fans who don't follow the resale market too much that don't know this and are trading them in on occasion.

Here are the new deals for today:

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - $14.99 - 50% Off - Ends 2/5

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze - $14.99 - 50% Off - Ends 2/5

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal World Duel Carnival - $12.99 - 35% Off - Ends 2/6

Any opinions on Yugioh? I loved the old ones (Especially the Championships/Tournaments), but I heard this one is gimped to hell with no Online.

But if its still fun I might bite on it.

Can I? I want to make sure that wont be an issue. Nintendo is absurdly idiotic with the way they do their digital and online stuff. Can i just delete something if theres a sale i want for now then d.load it again later without any issues?

yea as several people pointed out, he wasn't. Nintendo is really behind the times for digital stuff

has anyone used the webstore? Just wondering how easy it is. They just give you a code? Its not just set up to d.load next time you log on? That seems really clumsy

Anyone know where you find themes? Id like to see if there are any free ones up or anything like that, but i cant seem to find them anywhere in the eshop store

Also: where are you all getting STEAM codes?

Isn't it better to quote him just incase he sees it lol?

Are you drunk again eld
heh i saw it, tnx. Just wanted to double check. I wouldn't be too surprised if you COULDN'T or had to call them and have them restore it or something. Its nuts how horrible the big N's online stuff is. And if he is drunk i hope its on marshmallow shots. I had WAY too many of those a few days ago. Shits like candy... well it kinda is candy what with the marshmallow and all

Anyone who needs a 32 GB micro SD for their N3DS Amazon has a Sony one on sale for $12 today only. Close enough for me to the $10 price point I was hoping a band brand would hit.

I think today is the last day for Punch Out, so I bought that and NES Remix 2 for Wii U and Kid Icarus GB and Retro City Rampage for 3DS.
Exactly the things I bought this week.

Hopefully I'll fight temptation on the $22.49 Mario Golf. Still too rich for my blood.

Sony, Sandisk, or Samsung?
Six of one and all three are among the best brands and I would have bought whichever one of those (or a couple others like Transcend or Lexar) went to $10-12 first since they all exceed what the 3DS will ask of it. The card that's on sale is the equivalent of Sandisk's Ultra branded cards or Samsung's Evo branded ones.

Anyone have their 3ds on them? Nintendo world announced they're handing out QR codes for CODE STEAM demo's wonder if its worth picking any up for you guys/to trade

assuming the game is available for sale the webstore works pretty well actually. It does support immediate redeeming of the code which will activate a download on your system the next time it's turned on, at least I know it does for the Wii U because I've used it before.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll probably get the Wii U version at Best Buy with GCU. Shame the 3DS version doesn't feature all the games the Wii U version does.
Wait, NeoGutsman? I think I heard that name before. You didn't happen to write a Final Fight Revenge review for my old site, did you?

I just downloaded the demo from the eShop an hour ago, it seems to be available for everyone now.
