Hmm.. I've been wanting resident evil revelations and $10 is my buy price, but I really wanted the physical copy. Should I bite or wait?

IMO?

If your price threshold is $10 for a physical copy (and you feel that's realistic), and physical is your preference anyway, you should have a lower price threshold than that for digital, even if that isn't realistic.

is cave story worth 6
I thought it was worth it.

It's a metroid type game. If that interests you then go for it. Music is also pretty memorable.

Inazuma looks interesting, but why do these Japanese games have to have the setting take place in in high school or even worse middle school? Doesn't make me want to play the game at all.

Anyone know the Club Nintendo coin value of Inazuma Eleven, wondering if it's worth holding off till the next coin year starts.
I don't know the value, but you can download the game now and simply wait out the survey until July. I downloaded Code of Princess on June 1, and the Registration survey expires on July 1.

Strangely enough, Japanese kids can identify with school settings.

I get that, I do. What I don't get is how grown adults can tout these games as must play experiences...

Probably should have rephrased that better because there is nothing wrong with games catered for kids.

i think i just fucked over my  3ds.    IF i switch out the  SD card  i  lose all of my games.  Is there anyway to transfer games to a bigger memory card.

tried calling nintendo  but  2 hour wait time i pass.....

EDIT

looking more it dont look as bad as i though. If i deleted all of the demos i got it will free up around 4400 to 5000 blocks  (for second there thought i only had 90 blocks left)

Just stick the SD in a computer, copy the whole card to the PC, copy it all back to the new bigger card. Only need to do any license stuff when changing systems.

Huh, should I download this eShop version of Cave Story for $6 and return the Gamestop cart-only copy of Cave Story 3D I bought for ~$19 online a couple of weeks ago? Sounds like a no-brainer. :whistle2:k

Different games. You buy the eShop version to play it's pixely goodness, you buy the cartridge version because it's rare and even a cart only copy fetches like $30+.

How is Inazuma and what is it comparable to? I love just about all RPGs, but this seems pretty different. I'm in a soccer mood though.
It's good, I don't really know what to compare it to since I've never played anything quite like it. Maybe a cross between a standard JRPG with combat like something like Revenant Wings where it's kind of an RTS but then a rock paper scissors sort of fight. I don't know, it's weird in the best way.

I don't know that it's comparable to any other RPGs out there since the battle system takes place in soccer matches and it involves moving players around to the opposing player with the ball to wage this mini-battle to either get control of the ball or let them past you.

I decided to get Pushmo and Crashmo just now. Been interested and I figured what's $11 for 2 games. I like puzzle games so I am sure they're fun.

It is freeware on PC, if you want to give it a try. Googling it should take you to Daisuke Amaya's English fanpage, where you can probably download it and an English patch (at least, that's what I did with Cave Story back in the day).

Downloaded Inazuma but I can't stand the name changes. I've been watching the anime for the past three months and am almost at the end of the first series. It's hard to see Endou Mamoru changed to Mark Evans... Not sure if they're trying to please an English-speaking audience because they did keep the original opening song in the game. I thought they'd westernize it with a generic guitar rift.

Just to reiterate, they're completely different versions of the game.

Can anyone give me their opinion on ikachan? Loved Cave Story but don't know too much about this one. Is it worth picking up?
Wow, I had no idea the guy behind Cave Story made a new game. Cave Story is easily one of the best games I've played in years.

Ikachan actually preceded Cave Story, and was the first game he made, if I remember correctly. There's a boss in the underwater portion of Cave Story that's from Ikachan.

It was created during development of cave story as a side project during downtime, which I guess would explain why it's kind of a short game. I've had this on my wish list for a while, still not sure if I want it or not. It looks really fun, and the price this week is pretty nice

I am just checking out the Virtual Console stuff for the 3DS for the first time and am actually pretty pumped to pick up quite a few titles. Do the Nintendo licensed games from the NES or GB eras go on sale much or is it a safe bet to just pick them up at full asking price?

I've tried to play the Persona games, and I was never able to get into them (even though I own 1-3 on my psp).  But, I am tempted.  Some of the NES, and GB games ocassionally go on sale, but it's very rare.

They have VC sales maybe a few times a year, usually at about 30% off ($1.50 at most), so not really that much in the grand scheme of things. They also tend to be for big titles (Mario, Mega Man, Donkey Kong, etc.) and not the smaller, lesser known titles.

SMT IV isn't a whole lot like the Persona games, at least not in my opinion.

Do they release new virtual console games still? I'm new to the handheld scene... I'd love to get ahold of yoshis island or the mario snes games

NES and GB/GBC only for now. The only way to get Yoshi's Island on 3DS is to travel back in time to become a 3DS ambassador or buy an ambassador's 3DS.
