And was also like 200 coins last year and probably will come up again for coins.
Man it was 100 and thee was a stretch where next month was Mario Golf for 150, then Minis March Again for 150, then Zelda for 150, then Metroid for 150, and while this was going on they had posters and Game & Watches and those were truly halcyon days.

Donkey Kong Gameboy also made the EGM top 100 of all time list one year, albeit I think at like 99.

Amida's Path looks interesting, but I'm terrible at that specific gameplay mechanic.  I think there's a Brain Age or Big Brain Academy mini-game based on that.

Why does being DSiware mean it will be a short game? Shantae: Risky's Revenge is pretty lengthy, and that's DSiware.

I do agree being a native 3DS game would have been better, so that the game would be full screen and not super blurry.

Hey Nintendo, shouldn't these games be $1.00 each regular price...just sayin'.

Citizens of Earth has been pushed to November and given a price:

The good news is that we'll be releasing Citizens of Earth for $14.99 on each of the five platforms it's available for. That's PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, and PC if you haven't been keeping count!

In effort to have more champagne time - whoops, I mean CAMPAIGN time! - we are pushing back the release of Citizens of Earth from October, 2014, to the coincidentally-more-suitable election month: November!

No one likes delaying games, but hopefully the $14.99 price point for 30+ hours of classic JRPG-inspired entertainment will assuage those pains.

So how often do the Atlus games drop even further? Just curious if i should buy Soul Hackers or Overclocked now, or if they'll be hitting $10 soon.

The atlus games went down to 15 dollars relatively recently, and I honestly can't see them dropping anymore. At 15 dollars, I can strongly recommend Devil Survivor: Overclocked. It's a visual novel-esque srpg where you control characters and their demons. If you're familiar with fire emblem, its a little bit like that in terms of the moving around of characters, etc but it contrasts in that it has a typical jrpg (smt) style fighting. You could kind of think of it as a pokemon double/triple battle, if you're uncertain of what I mean. There are certain strengths, weaknesses and status ailments. For me, the grinding and battles are decent, but not spectacular. The story, however, is fantastic and really intriguing. I'd highly recommend it. Also, this is a ds port (with upgrades), so unfortunately, it has no 3d.

As for Shin Megami Tensei, it's also a fantastic game. It's a dungeon crawler rpg with the typical fighting of jrpgs (same as what I described Devil Survivor). It's pretty fun, though, the story is a little less interesting in the beginning. It picks up in pace about the mid-section of the game. For 20 dollars, I can recommend a pickup if you're not strapping for cash.

While I haven't finished either game (I really need to), I have played at least 20 hours in both. I want to say I've played 35 hours of SMT4 and maybe 25 hours of Devil Survivor.

if your lucky maybe thanksgiving but dont count on it. They been 15 what 3 or 4 times now . if those EO games were 9.99 i would buy them again just to have them digital

They have been this price the last several sales. My advice would be to buy them if you want to play them now, but otherwise hold off and see if they drop any cheaper.

Somewhat off topic, but I went to Gamestop today to get the mega stones for Heracross and Pinsir that they are giving away. The goons there said they haven't received the codes yet, but they should sometime this week. Then the manager asked "You preordered the game, right?" To which I responded with a puzzled "Huh?" I told them everywhere I've read about this promotion said they were just free, with no mention of having to preorder. He pointed to a poster on the wall that says "Gamestop exclusive" next to the event. "Anytime an item is Gamestop exclusive, you have to preorder to get it" I told him I didn't think that was the case for this, but I'll check back later in the week. I mean every Pokemon related distribution they've done has always been free.

So I just googled it, and some stores are giving them out to anyone who asks, but some stores are telling people the same thing and requiring you to preorder the next game to get the "free" item. Here's the article from Nintendo about it.

It says you can ALSO preorder the new games when picking up the mega stones.

So now I'm probably going to have to make two preorders, and let them earn interest on my money, just to get these items. It's so stupid.

Apparently this is coming out this Thursday.

I had no idea such a thing was going on.

That poster should also have come with a cardboard stand-up that very clearly states "No purchase necessary." Just point to that if they give you trouble, or leave and try a different Gamestop. They tried this stunt with the last distribution, too, and it's definitely not the truth, just some goons (I like that) trying to pressure less knowledgeable players into locking in preorders. These are never supposed to be limited to preorders.

Also the codes are apparently on cards that they're handing out so they can actually run out of them this time around.

Don't bother. It's crap. Takes hundreds of games to get anywhere and the odds are ridiculously stacked against you you'd think you were in Vegas.
^---------- I agree with this. Overall the game is what it is and I find that I'm just not that good at blackjack, or the odds are just terribly poor. It is not worth the $2 I paid for it.

Demon King Box looks interesting. For $4 I think I'll grab it.
got it and got to say PASS. its nothing but a tower defence game where you got to put your demons in same line to take down the other demons. Game has to be very short only played it for 15 mins (map 3) and already says i beat 20% of the game. There are only 20 demons in the game (what seem to get unlocked after each map ) there are only 4 or 5 BREEDING DEMONS) where you must have like 50 of one item and 40 of another item to FUSSION the demon. After each map your given so much food that you can feed to the demons again what is a joke cause i was able to max out the pig demon in less then 15 mins. There are also like 25 medals you can earn from different things. The AI sucks (unless it get harder but the first 3 maps was a cake walk)

Was expecting a lot more then this out of the game, then again its a circle game and we all know what type of crap they been putting out lately. (hopefully the castle game coming in oct dont suck as much as this.)

have to pick someone up from work but should have the entire review up later tonight or tomorrow.

if your looking for something simple to waste your 4 bucks on go for it but i Doubt this game will last you more then 5 to 6 hours

Little update. Game may be longer then 5 to 6 hours. Im at 2 1/2 hours at still at 33% due to the fact of the increase diff. in the game. I had to go back and regrind the same levels just to level up the monsters. There are only 4 areas and each area has like 7 fights. I just got to area 2-3 and was able to unlock the first demon fusing .

First review i would gave it a 4/10 but now im up to around 6/10. is a okay game and 4 was the right price for it

Hopefully have more review by monday.

Is this Boulder Dash game the same one I keep seeing at GameStop for $10 new? I enjoyed the GBA version.

Also, are there any places that still have Nintendo Zones? I used to go to Starbucks to access NZ but since Google started providing their Wi-Fi, the feature doesn't work anymore when I go there. I can't get online with a 3DS there at all anymore.

Thanks, I've downloaded it last night but did not get a chance to play yet. It's funny when I looked at the details on the eShop, it was listed as "strategy" and " RPG" ... I guess they did not have a category for Tower Defense. I'll try to give it a go tonight and give a review as well, but for $4, 6 hours is not too bad, as long as the end boss is not super cheap like Witch and Hero was.

Mostly. eShop is an updated version, different publisher (Reef Entertainment instead of Giant Media Group).

Plus some other changes like less italic fonts.

Nintendo incorrectly claims the game is digital only.

Nintendo Zone isn't my king of thing, but I once took a quick glance aboard the WA state Clinton-Mukilteo ferry about a month or so ago.
