I just finished Oracle of Ages (on Sunday in fact, took me 21 hours I think) and I thought it was great, if you liked Links Awakening you'll love it, I bet Seasons is just as good.

Seeing that FE:A deal takes me back to when BBY had it for $14.99, glad I got in on that.

Glad I could help!

Any advice for me on the games? Oracles or Unchained Blades?
Unchained blades is a decent RPG. I played it on my psp, just FYI. It moves quickly but gets fairly grindy towards the end if you care about the more powerful items. Overall, the grind is not as intensive as other RPG's I have played. Very rarely did I have to stop in a particular location for build levels to get through the story. There were some spots that gave very good experience so I stayed there for a little bit to gain up, but it was totally optional. Most of the time I stopped in the area to capture all the monsters. The capturing system I really could have done without as I felt it was really gimmicky and it really limited skills and spells unless you spent time the find the right monsters to give you access to a specific skill or spell. I liked the story and the limited voice acting during cut scenes. Not sure I can recommend it at $20 but it's hard to find a sale on the game. Hope that helps.

I have not played either oracle Zelda game.

I'm in a similar boat. I have ALBW so now I want the two Oracle games for $7.98.

I was planning on using my $20 worth of eshop cards to get Unchained Blades, but now I might do the two Oracle games and sit on the remaining $12 for another sale... Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

By the way -- I know I'm late to CAG, but I hope everyone knows how to avoid sales tax on the eshop. If not, just change your region to a sales tax-free state like Montana.
unchained blades is a great game. Played it round 50 hours with little to no grinding.

Kid Icarus is at an intriguing price and it's one of those games you'd rather have digitally too.

Tempting to sell my physical copy at its inflated value.

Oracles and Ages are totally different but they look and play the same since they were developed simultaneously with the engine from Link's Awakenkng. LA is my favorite Zelda title ever, bummer it's not part of the sale for those who haven't played it. Of the 3 GBC games, it's easily the best.

Keep in mind these don't go on sale all that often and probably won't ever get cheaper, so if you want them on your 3DS you might as well get them.

Thanks that really helped. :)

That deal was great. Played it, beat it -- traded it in months later for around $30 on a promo week to best buy or something.
Yup. I just got $35.60 for mine at GameStop with the 50% boost. Having spent about $16 on it including tax, that was an amazing deal.

New Releases:

The Keep - $12.99

Top Model 3D - $19.99

I grabbed Oracle of Ages and could not remember which one I played way back when. I was torn whether I had ridden inside a boxing Kangaroo or rode a Blue bear with tiny wings.

This is the cheapest the Oracle games have been. Upon release they discounted them at $4.99 so I don't expect a better sale than $2 off.

You also had to buy both games to get that discount I believe.

They're cheap enough that I'm just gonna grab both.

Played one but never finished it and too lazy to go digging to figure it out. :)

How's the DLC scene for FE:A?  I'm leaning towards going in on digital if there's still a lot of content out there to play beyond the hundred hours I put into it.  Is the SpotPass stuff still available, or was that time-sensitive?

Rage of the Gladiator - $2.99 - 57% Off - Ends 11/2

always wanted to pick it up....maybe before it goes off sale i will
It's a cool Punch-Out clone, and it has some pretty good production values. I've owned it on the Wii, and the 3DS version, and for 3 bucks, you could do a lot worse.

Smash Bros 3DS demo confirmed for the US on 9/19 and for select Club Nintendo Platinum members on 9/12. If you are Platinum member check your email to see if you got a download code.

I was platinum last year, but I haven't gotten any e-mails with a code.  I deleted some advertisement they sent me today, but that was about the super smashing sale we all knew about already.

Ive been platinum every year on day 1 since 2009, nothing yet here. Logging into CN is very slow at the moment, maybe itll be a free reward.

I promised my spare codes to my brother and two internet strangers.  I am going to look like a big of a doofus if I don't get chosen.  Apparently it is just "select" platinum members, not all platinum members, so who even knows!

This is stupid as fuck, why not just release the demo to everyone right now if it's ready?

The only thing dumber is the idea that people are paying $$$ for these...... wow.

I wish I'd given my codes out here instead of Silicon Era. They were like jackals. One guy was nice, but I'm pretty sure the other guy got several codes. Oh well.

Other one went to my brother and the last one to me!

Is the US demo different than the JP demo released?  Either way if someone feels gracious I would love a code because I apparently hate emails or forgot to redeem enough CN codes last year.
