I can't get excited for anything MM related until they do something, anything with Legends. Be it ports, remastered or deciding to work on 3 again.

So probably never.

They need to put the Legends games on PSN then put them and Tron Bonne on a flash sale for like $1 each.

Probably so.

I jumped on Misadventures as soon as I saw it, though I really wish I could replay MML2 without shelling out a lot of cash or importing a JPN version.

Battle Network was my favorite series. And I had to watch it die slowly with Star Force.

X series could probably still be revived somehow or spiritually (The MMZ games were amazing, as were ZX and Advent)

Aren't Mega Man 1-6 already on the 3DS VC? Swear I own at least three versions of Mega Man 2 alone. Kind of lame.
Pretty sure this is just a bare-bones retail package. It's Capcom, though. They'll probably have some sort of DLC in the cart because that's what Capcom does. They are the masters of on-disc/cart DLC and releasing umpteen versions of the same game.

Hey Capcom. You made two Megaman games PC friends can't get outside of Wii emulation. How about you bring THAT crap on up, huh?

Who am I kidding I'll pay $15 for this because I am fuck ing stupid even if MM9 is probably the best of the whole series.

http://www.retronauts.com/?p=1093 and a little more info here: http://www.usgamer.net/articles/retronauts-tackles-the-mega-man-legacy-and-the-mega-man-legacy-collection

The newest episode of Retronauts covers the first six games and then is an interview with some Capcom guys about the collection. They're basically offering the games with save state options, challenge modes, and tons of concept art, production guides, illustrations, and other stuff like that as bonus art. They even talked about having the ability to start up a one-off fight against any boss to practice before starting up the game and trying to do it for real in the game. The collection alone is half the cost of buying them all separately on VC and they're supposedly not emulated as well as they will be in the collection.

It's a digital collection with a lot of bonus content to offer up some cool stuff for newbies and vets alike from a team that takes games archiving and emulation seriously.

lol they used Toad Man and Plant Man to advertise it.

Seriously though Capcom. Shovel Knight made bank and MM9 is almost as good. Get it together.

Is this the first sale on Vector Racing? I was going to buy it at launch, but most comments said it was rather generic, so I decided against full price, but I may give it a go now. Any comments on it?

You can't choose your music in Dr. Mario Miracle Cure. Seriously, what the hell?

The premise is it mixes Virus Buster, Dr. Mario, Dr. Luigi, and adds some goofy fruity power up items. Speeds up the slow fall drop (THANK GOODNESS), includes Arika's last physics tweaks (Flipping vertical pills in a vertical alley), and also does away with level based mode for an endless mode. Powerups are optional in every mode. There's a pseudo campaign mode with an array of scenarios as well as free play. Haven't tried the AI.

But seriously guys, you can't pick the songs? Seriously?!

A solid package but I am really cheesed about not being able to pick the songs.

EDIT: If you want to play online Dr. Mario Miracle Cure now's the time because all the terrible people are playing. If you pick up Dr. Luigi WiiU right now you will get your anus dilated by some professional proctologists.

EDIT2: Quick garbage/chain fall is a HUGE thing. In Dr. Luigi/earlier games, garbage/a poorly placed chain drop would take you out of the game for a truly stupid amount of time. Smarter people than me could make an argument that this reduces a crucial bit of strategy for the game but I would call them dumbasses because that isn't any fun and if they're really so smart why are they strategizing over Dr. Fricken Mario.

EDIT3: These online people are garbage but it doesn't help that there is just nothing in solo play that prepares you for the speed you need to bring to Dr. Mario online.

EDIT4: Not 100% convinced on the power ups for versus play. They seem like just a way for a speedy player to just run away with the game.

EDIT5: Endless is in play if you pick super powers for solo. Classic level select is in play if you disable them, so this game has just about everything.

SteamWorld Heist is coming out this fall for 3DS and they released some gameplay footage:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92_Ixm3uFqE

Keep in mind that SteamWorld is a universe of games with a tower defense game before Dig, so they're not limited to just making Dig sequels for the series to continue.

I spent less than that on Doc Mario you dumb woman. On TWO versions of Doc Mario combined I spent less than that I think.
Hostile, much?

People can do whatever they want, Nintendo would still put out freemium games(and continue to do so) even if they didn't make any money off of them. They'd release them on the potential sales alone.

But did you get to ride on the Starlight Balloon and have all you dreams come true? And dress yourself in a little bikini with a beach background with a Pikachu and Piplup by your side?

I DIDN'T THINK SO.

Should have been a Mudkip!

You don't have to show me a picture of a Mudkip.

I am a Pokemon Master and know all things.

Besides, Piplup is a penguin. Penguins are obviously cuter than swamp monsters.

You're enslaving monsters and chasing foolish fantasies of riding balloons and chilling on the beach. I'm SAVING LIVES. You disgust me.

I gave Pokemon Rumble World $15.99 for the highest diamond pack the other day.

You may now blame me for all the problems in the world.

:joystick:
Don't worry, I bought 3,000 Poke Diamonds and caught all 719 Pokemon. Maxed out my level (79) and am currently farming Arceus. I still can't beat World Championship X, though, but I figured out the trick is using an Epic Pokemon with Endeavor.

#noregrets

(I came here because I wanted to mock you all now that OlliOlli is $5 when it was in a Humble)

Oh my goodness. How many hours have you clocked in Rumble World? I didn't even know about World Championship X. You've totally bought into the game and use diamonds to stop the spinner to farm specific areas? I may end up at that point, eventually. I guess I've put around $19 into the game...

Lol, I just broke 90 hours. I bought 1,750 diamonds to get all of the balloons, but you get a diamond mine if you purchase 3,000 and it produces 20 diamonds a day so I thought why not buy the rest? I'm too OCD not to have the game completed. It's a fun game if you like Pokemon, and I save enough on not pre-ordering games or buying anything over $10 that I can splurge every now and then.

You don't need to go that far. I only bought 1500 diamonds total and I'm already at 716 caught. Just play smart with your diamonds and remember the daily invites.
