Pre order for a digital code...hmmm
I think that this will be the eShop price anyway so I don't see the point of pre-ordering unless you have Amazon credit to use or something. It would probably be more practical to just get it from the Shop when it appears there.

I speak from experience: Anyone who buys mighty switch force is an idiot.

But you'll be an even bigger idiot if you buy MSF 1 for 3DS. It got an HD remake on PC and Wii U with extra hard mode level remixes doubling the level count (And really awful soundtrack remixes to go with that hard batch.). MSF2 is a safe buy but if you want MSF1 get it on either of the latter platforms.

I love how, like Earthbound, the general consensus was "GIVE IT TO ME ILL PAY ANYTHING" to WTF NINTENDO?!
I was not one of those "I'LL PAY ANYTHING!" guys. I was never all that interested in replaying the old games anyway, but I might have bought Yellow. Now I'll wait for a discount.

I already put like 500 hours in the original Pokemon trilogy. I remember replaying Red over and over again the grind TMs to build my perfect team in Blue and Yellow. Great times, but god to I love reusable TMs. But really, unless they've made it so you can trade the Pokemon up to newer games I probably won't be playing the original R/B/Y/G/S/C anymore.

Replaying... pffttttt... it's lucky it gets played through the first time anymore :)

Midnight needs to hurry the hell up because I wanna play a game like a 5 year old :)

Waiting on this showing up with confirmation at a US store. Preferably Best Buy.
They usually don't put that stuff up early though and since it's an entirely different model with the region locking it seems reasonably reliable. Nintendo also just likes to drop stuff out of the sky.

Waiting to hear back... the theme I thought I was getting the Mystery Dungeon appears to be Japan only.. at which point the badges don't really work the way I wanted them to.... overall it's a 1am disappointment.

I really don't like how you can't see what theme you'll actually be getting and have to hope it's shown in the crawl on the bottom screen.

Also gotten some really terrible luck and 0 badges the last three days.

Sorry you didn't like them. No need to call those of us they really enjoyed them idiots however.

WayForward games are one of the things that trigger Rolling. Other such subjects include games in general, certain business practices, the Jackson Five, and daily existence*.

*Things that trigger RollingSkull subject to be completely different than this list; your experience may vary.

Yeah, it's a good chance this will be an Asian release ONLY. Play-Asia had a the blue N3DS XL with US region settings for sale awhile ago, and that never made it to the US, so I'm thinking this might follow the same line.

I heard about that, too, which is why I'm waiting for somebody, anybody else to confirm it. Otherwise I'd get it from play-asia but I'm a noob when it comes to importing.

I am triggered by way forward games, people who like games I don't like, and the Vita

.

Speaking from experience, I said. Then I give intimate details only someone who bought the games multiple times could offer.

I am throwing pearls before swine here! Dumping big stinky barrels of bait into the ocean to attract fish who apparently only eat rocks!

THE POINT OF THE POST WAS FOR YOU TO POINT AT THE FACT I ADMITTED I WAS AN IDIOT NOT TO WILT AT THE FIRST SIGN OF BAD WORDS.

In calling yourself an idiot you called many many others the same. I could care less about it being a "bad word" just there is not need to call others names that is all. Saying I thought the game sucked was more than sufficient. Also, are you actually angry and having to scream or is that part of your Phoenix Wright online persona and just love to scream OBJECT! or something of the sort?

You mistake intensity for anger. I'm having fun.

And I've seen the MSF communities. It wasn't that many people.

20.

Anyone know if the Pokemon Yellow game is going to have the ability to have more than the black & white coloring?
They went out of their way to say that the Japanese version specifically won't, but that version also wasn't adjusted to work with the GBC like the western versions were. Considering the past of GBC releases, I'd say it's likely.

Also just noticed this:

Forgot to mention, there is no reason to let the sequel order impact your MSF buying decision at all. MSF2 is quite literally a level pack for MSF1. There is no fancy buildup of mechanics that requires MSF1 skill or anything, nor does the plot matter. Buying both at once and playing them interchangeably is completely viable.

Of course you shouldn't buy either, but, you know, some people want to be dumb.

Speaking of dumb, everyone should download the Swords and Darkness demo. It's a mediocre game, but the real treat is the voice actress. She is clearly a sweetheart of the most pleasant variety and has been asked to narrate a spooky grimderp hurr souls-style mindless grimfest. So she's trying so, so hard to speak in a menacing powerful tone and it does not work at all.

Oh, found the video:

If I let my eyes unfocus it looks like the horse at ~0:35 has boobs. That was... that was honestly better than the rest of that trailer.

PA has made mistakes in listings in the past, so yeah, waiting on some reviews once it's released will confirm it has the US region in place.

As for importing, it's fairly easy. I would recommend using whatever express mailing option they have, as I wouldn't trust standard mail for an expensive system. That will also have full tracking, and normally arrives within a few days depending on customs.

What I meant was whether the system will actually work for everything I need it to. System transfer from a "true" US system, eShop, internet, power outlet, Streetpass, Spotpass, local wireless, etc. I've never imported a "US-region" Singapore/Malaysia system before, so I'd be concerned if there are any quirks that I would need to be aware of, especially considering the trouble to export back if something didn't work (I've had to do this before with lesser purchases and other companies, it usually doesn't go well).

With the region locking I wouldn't import anything, personally.

Once the Pokemon ones leave, I'll need some retro badges to keep me coming back. I don't know if anything else will get me to put a buck in except maybe some Xenoblade badges.

I'm caring a little less about the Badge Arcade each day. Thank God.
Go figure, I forgot to post how it's starting to wear on me. I like it, I really do and are OK with giving it 15 minutes a day. But then I go after those Pikmin system icons and get a single one over the past like five days because they're set up to require multiple plays to work them out and it tests my desire to keep at it.

If I could save plays and space them out between actual sets I like, maybe Badge Arcade would be worth spending money on regularly.   Dumb arcade style design means I don't care anymore.

Yeah, that annoys me too. Immediately forces you to go use them and you can't quit until you do. Same with when you get a promotional play when you come in to the game.

Yikes, that sucks that they're that hard. I've been wondering if those badges on hooks are as difficult as they look.

1)  Last day for Pokemon/Pikmin.

2)  4 new Pokemon pages today so you'll likely spend money.  You can wipe the practice board in 4 shots (if you knock #5 off the edge with your crane)

3)  I got all the Pikmins.  You have to "bull in a china shop" it.  Use the crane to knock them so the hook comes off.  The other Pikmin (the one with the 4 behind held in an arch) you grab that middle one and you'll get all but one I believe).  It took me 2 shots on that one.

Disappointed at the lack of badges/themes for Pokemon.  I wanted some icons.

Wasted the rest of my shots on holiday crap.

All in all I'm up to 128 badges... and starting to slow to a crawl.
