Because they're meant to be backgrounds for you to put your Badges on and make scenes with.

There's a rotator that randomly switches between themes whenever you go back to the home screen. You don't have to stick with just one theme.

 
I use all of them.  But hey, just me.  

But I tend to stick with my Poke theme, even if it ISN'T the theme that came with the Japanese version which is the entire reason I bought PSMD Digital... but I'm not holding a grudge or anything for them not being consistent.

I DID, however, take all the badges off the screen because that was literally too many Pokemon on the screen at once, and I didn't even get to place them all.

 
After Mighty Bomb Jack last week I was really hoping for a deal on Solomon's Key.   That to me was one of the best hidden gems on the NES.  Puzzle platforming at it's best.  I'm not sure I want anything this week.  Maybe Castlevania.  I will say Attack of the Friday Night Monsters was a very charming fantastic little game.  I loved just about every second of it.

Yeah, but a lot of them are just one flat color. How is a black screen supposed to get my inspiration flowing? I can put a cheeseburger in a goomba shoe on any theme.

One thing I will say is that I bought a 32GB Sandisk Ultra when I got my New 3DS last year, and had periodic "the SD card has been removed" errors. I recently swapped to a 32GB Samsung card that I picked up for $10 from Amazon, and haven't had any issues since. So I would avoid the Sandisk Ultra brand, even though it's otherwise reputable.

Microsd inside an adapter should work. I personally use regular sd's but I've heard of people using microsd's.

You don't really need a class 10. IIRC the included card with the system was just a class 2 or 4. I haven't tested it myself but there may be youtube videos showcasing the different load times for different card speeds. I doubt a 3ds can utilize a class 10's full speed anyway.

I had a faulty card like that before. Some cards are just duds. I've had plenty of good sandisk cards too so it's just luck of the draw.

I've also had that problem a couple of times just because there was a piece of dirt blocking the connectors, so it's not always necessarily a SD card problem.

SD card classes are for writing to, not reading from. So a demo reading from a class 2 actually means absolutely nothing.

Sadly, these games do look like over priced Android games, but considering "N" and their poor 3rd party support, or lack there of, this is the type of games you get.

I'm sure the NX, whatever it ends up being, will be filled with more of the same.

For those interested, you can get the Aryll badge in Badge Arcade for free by switching between its machine and the one to its right. It seems to take a bit more or less than five minutes depending on whether or not Aryll's telescope appears to get jammed and require more work before it loosens. This video illustrates the wrong way at 2:39 and the right way at 3:32.

I'm not sure I'm super comfortable with the creepy pink bunny trying to pimp the girls of Wind Waker. Yes, they're super adorable bunny guy...can we please end this conversation, it's making me uncomfortable. Oh you want to bring Link's Gran into this...that doesn't make it less weird.

I got 4 plays today and since it was the last day for the pikachu's I went for it but I was only able to get 4/5 of them. I will never have a skirt pikachu now. I feel empty inside. T_T
