Thanks OP, picked up Dynasty Warriors 5 for 360, probably be crap but I've never played any of the games in this series and for $25 shipped it's worth a shot.

The Con sucks, it's got incredibly slow loading and LOTS of it.

I'm not even sure $19.99 is worth it for for Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires for 360... probably not though.

To everyone else, Daxter is very awesome and for $19.99 it is a STEAL.

tempting indeed, but i don't wanna drive 40 miles and only to find out they just ran out of stuff. plus, i could still get it at non-CompUSA stores.
 
For those who are going to pick these up in store check their ad. The ad in my location has an extra 10% off clearance and discontinued items. It didn't ring up automatically and the guy tried to deny me for some reason. But after I talked with him he manually adjusted the total to take the % off. Good luck.

Ya, me too, I gave up on CompUSA a long time ago when they didn't have much stuff on clearance in the store near me. So oh well, there is always next sale.
 
Managed to pick up Chronicles of Narnia (NGC) for $9.99 and Prince of Persia: TTT (NGC) for $14.98 locally. CompUSA has the strangest pricing I've seen. No logic. Anybody ever seen the dartboard they use to decide what prices for their items will be?
 
i visited a branch close by, and when I asked a staff there if the prices online would reflect the in-store price, he told they don't do online prices or adjustments.

funny, if a game title online is available for pick-up then how come prices would be different between online and B&M?

hmmm....

oh and btw, I just picked up Star Wars: Episode III (DS) for only $14.99 :D

Ridge Racer 06 360 $19.95
Dynasty Warriors 5 360 $19.95
NHL 2K6 360 $19.95
NBA Live 06 360 $19.95
College Hoops 06 360 $19.95

So, out of these, which would you guys recommend?

I got rid of PGR cause I never played it, so maybe it's time for another racing game.

Are these going to be dropped everywhere else soon? Should I wait for them to drop at BB so I can get them for $15 with the GGC?
 
I went to pick up the Exit ($14.99) and I also got NFSUR for PSP for $9.99 and NCAA MVP Baseball for Xbox for $9.99.

Of course they did not have the game I ordered ready for me to pick up when I arrived.

Also if anyone in the Chicago land area is interested they had one copy of Daxter for PSP for $19.99 at the Skokie store in village crossing shopping center.

I'd say Ridge Racer or College Hoops. Just be aware with all sports titles the 2007 versions will be out soon.

DW5 is good but does not really showcase the 360 at all. Totally up to you.
NHL 2K6 is good but 2K7 comes out next month.
NBA live is the worst game on 360.
 
I picked up Con and Daxter.

Area 51 for XBOX was also $9.98.

I saw Coded Arms at mine, but it was opened, and I hate buying display copies of games.
 
I might have to head to Compusa tomorrow morning.

Note, you can also check your compusa to see other games that are a blowout. They have a lot of junk bust some good stuff. Just go to the store location and look for blowout items/ here's a sample of blowout items at my store.

Warning on the blowout prices that are shown on a per store basis. My local CompUSA had many items listed in quantities of 2 or 3, but couldn't find anything in store.

Also, there are apparently no copies of Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires for the 360 within 150 miles of Schaumburg IL as of 6pm today.
 
Boo-hoo. I've been saying for a couple weeks now how I'd buy Tourist Trophy in a heartbeat...if it was $20. :(

Oh yeah, this was in the San Marcos, CA location. They had alot of display copies of xbox games and Daxter left. I should have bought daxter, but I want quantity, screw quality

NGC Donkey Konga 2 with DK Bongos -- 19.98

I figured it would be a bust of a trip to Compusa but was surprised to find some decent deals(as opposed to a month ago when they had nada 3). The shelves were marked pretty much like the website.

Was able to snag Daxter for $19.98, thanx OP, been holding out on a deal for that one(now watch it hit $19.99 at Best Buy next week). They also had Dynasty Warriors(360) which I passed on.

Some good prices on PC games. Even though the website shows out of stock on some stuff, it may be worthwhile to check B&M. My store had a lot of PC games for $10 and under(Webster TX).

If anybody got an extra Daxter for PSP, I would trade them the Donkey Konga 2 (with Bongos) I got the other day for $19.99. I also have a Need For Speed Underground Rivals (PSP) for trade. Looking for PSP games or movies (Big Trouble In Little China, Escape from New York)
