Hey guys, just got in to work and saw we got several copies of Darkstalkers: Chaos Tower, Ultimate Ghouls N Ghosts, Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, and Capcom Classics Remixed for PSP for $12.99 each. These fall under the Cool Deals section. I believe in the ad for the 13th(weekend of, don't know exact date) we have 25% off all cool deals games. Check em out, I have Darkstalkers, Ghouls and Alpha and they are definitely worth $13! SHOULD be storewide, but I put YMMV just in case.

I would like to add that I saw these at the Circuit City over in Fremont, CA.

They had 3 copies of Ultimate Ghost N Goblins, Viewtiful Joe, Darkstalkers AND Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max.

Found and grabbed each for $12.99 while looking for Odin Sphere. Sadly, no Odin Sphere there.

But I figured getting those games was well worth the trip. :D

Yeah, we also got Onimusha 2 and as mentioned above, Viewtiful Joe Red Hot Rumble for PSP. Both at $13 which is a lil much for Onimusha 2, I think.

I definitely suggest Drakstalkers if you like 2D Capcom fighters. Especially if normal humans fighters like Ken and Ryu bore you.

Ult Ghosts and Goblins is a great looking update of the snes classic.

I have finished the SNES version a few times but this one is just as hard if not harder.

If you are a fan of the series, this one is very good.

It's not an update, it's a new game.

I had been watching Circuit City online for CCC remixed to come back in stock and it did yesterday. I ordered that and the new Pursuit Force game was on sale for 19.99, so I had to scoop that up, as well.

Can confirm that all titles mentioned by OP are available in Torrance, CA. CC in Hawthorne didn't have them, still I don't think it's YMMV. Hawthorne CC has a sucky Psp game section.

Also, Capcom Classics Collection Remix is going to be $9.99 starting on Sunday.

Does anyone know if there is a difference between Capcom Classics Collection Remix and Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded (in-stock at Target for $14.99)?

Reloaded has some different old-school games on it.

Remixed games> 1941, Avengers, Bionic Commando, Black Tiger, Block Block, Captain Commando, Final Fight, Forgotten Worlds, Last Duel, Legendary Wings, Magic Sword, Mega Twins, Quiz & Dragons, Section Z, Side Arms, Speed Rumbler, Street Fighter 1, Strider, Three Wonders, and Varth.

Reloaded games> 1942, 1943, 1943 Kai, the original Street Fighter II, SFII Champion Edition, SFII Hyper Fighting, Ghosts 'N Goblins, Ghouls 'N Ghosts, Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts, Gun Smoke, Commando, Mercs, Exed Exes (Attack of the Savage Bees), Knights of the Round, King of Dragons, Eco Fighters, Pirate Ship Higemaru and Sun Sun.

Thanks for the info. I may pick up both. Remix for sure at $10.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but Circuit City has several older Capcom titles for the Psp marked at $12.99 each. Most are available online right now and several Circuit City stores have actually received new shipments of these (my local store has at least 7 copies of each) as well.

Thanks. Yeah, I posted it in the latest clearance thread.

CC in Bolingbrook, IL at the Promenade has viewtiful joe, ultimate ghouls and ghosts, and ccr for 12.99 as of yesterday 4/5/08

Darkstalkers and Ghosts' N Goblins are OOS online.
Saw these as frontlane titles at Target yesterday.
Is this a regional thing? I've never seen frontlane games at Target. How much were they tagged for?

I ordered SFA3M when it popped up online. Knew there was a reason they kept the game on the site with the shaded out $12.99 and unavailable. Got to a point where I was checking everyday.

If you look in the aisle right after the game cases, you will usually find the "bargain" games at Target. I think SFA3 is priced at $14.99 along with 2 Megaman games and Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded.

Oh...yeah... Must of blocked it from memory since they're usually empty or full of crappy GBA games.
Gun Showdown was $9.99 also.
Is Gun Showdown worth $10?I saw this on another thread and found it at CC but didn't buy it.

I picked up Darkstalkers on Saturday. They had SFA3 as well, but I chose one absolute favorite fighter to abuse the PSP buttons with, wouldn't want to do that excessively (I've also owned SFA3 on DC since release).

Also of note: my local CC had moved the special yellow "deal" box away from the videogame section, so look around if you don't immediately see it.

I was at CC picking up a headset & saw SFA3 & Capcom Classics Remixed & scooped them up without a second thought.

Don't believe all the "control" issues you read online about the PSP SFA3...I played all the way through as both Ken & Blanka & it performing the "Shiryukin" on the PSP 2000 pad worked perfectly...

Now if only Capcom Classic RELOADED were also available...the CC rep its not in their systems. Might have to check target.

I'm looking for RELOADED...I was at my local Super Target, but they didn't have it, would definitely pay $14.99 for that title (Amazon & co. want a little too much for my taste).

I can also vouch for pulling combos off fine in Darkstalkers on my Slim (and loads are more acceptable than on launch PSPs).

I don't see that anyone suggested SFA3 wouldn't handle acceptably. My issue with fighters on PSP is all the potential torquing of the chassis under intense playing as well as pounding from the buttons. I'm simply willing to risk it for Darkstalkers, but not any other fighter.
