Has anyone actually successfully gotten both the Xbox $50 trade in coupon and the movers coupon to scan properly when purchasing Xbox one?!? I tried and they didnt combine. I was told after they attempted to scan both multiple times they cant be used together. Only one or the other. I was denied today. Anyone else have this specific issue?!?

I guess I've been ignorant to that situation, but that could definitely be a reason - I was just told by a GS employee that they are definitely getting more SSO bundles, but they can't say when. I hope to God that's true, because I've tried reserving at 5 different Gamestops, three of which are over 70 miles away.

 
I don't know if this has been answered or not. I know when I asked the question it was not directly answered to me, but I finally got around to calling best buy and asking if I could purchase an xbox one now and exchange it later when a SSOD bundle becomes available. The woman I spoke to had to look it up and said that:

It will work for the Xbox one. So I am going to buy the AC bundle and hold onto until BB gets more SSOD. I can easily wait til Jan 15th. This way everything should work out just as fine. I'll do the moves coupon at that later time if I get rejected now since some people are saying they are having an issue now.

Coupons would not combine for me either when I tried yesterday at my local Best Buy.

 
So what's the deal with this $50 upgrade coupon? People are getting it in addition to the $100 when they trade in their console? Is it some sort of error? Because I can't seem to find details about the offer anywhere and I've tried looking through some of this thread. It's mentioned but I haven't caught on to the specifics. I'm considering trading in a PS3 with a bunch of games and if I get $150 just for the console, I'd be sold.

 
Finally the MS online store came through for me! I had cancelled my Xbox One Assassins Creed bundle to get the Sunset Overdrive bundle but it was out of stock and I couldn't. Cancelling that order had invalidated my $100 off code. So I spent the last few days going back and forth on the phone and through email trying to get my code back.

Today I finally got an email that my new promo code was ready (this happened right after I sent a super frustrated email to them). So they contact me and of course they still don't have the SSO bundle, but what they did was give me the original AC Bundle with the $100 off and free next day shipping, plus a $25 Xbox Live card for the issues. Also they took a little extra off so it all ended up costing about $10 less than my original cancelled order. 

Whew. That was easily the most hassle I've ever had with CS, but I'm glad that in the end they did help me out.

Reading that story about the port delays makes a lot of sense. Usually Microsoft bundles are never this rare. Hopefully they have more, because damn it looks nice.

 
Question: thinking of buying an Xbox one this week and then trying to take the receipt in Saturday for the free year of Xbox live (buying ahead of time in case it's sold out on Saturday). So, assuming they'll do this for me, do I need to purchase the xbox at the store I try to return/rebuy at? Because only one store in Delaware is doing the special shopping event and it's kinda a hike to get to.

Quite honestly, nobody really knows and likely won't know until Saturday. The bundle pictured is the standard Xbox One with Kinect. Nobody knows if the deal will include other bundles or if the Mover's Coupon will apply since it's a bundle of a console bundle and a separate 12 month card (indeed, there are multiple Mover's Coupons, so there could be many variations of how the deal does or doesn't work) or anything else right now. All you can do is wait until Saturday and see what people post here and make a decision based on that.

Thanks, that's what I was expecting to hear haha. I'll prob buy the Xbox one and just hold onto my receipt and not open the Xbox. Luckily, this is my second Xbox one so I'm in no hurry :)

AC:U bundle just ordered from the Microsoft store. With $100 coupon from the trade in it came to $263.94 with tax. Now to wait for Target's Buy2Get1 free sale next week.

You trade in your ps3, and make sure they select the guaranteed 150 towards an xbox one option. You get 100 gift card for the ps3, 10 dollars per wireless controller, and a 50 dollars coupon off any xbox one.

Crap, i should of done it online, i got charged tax for the full 349.99 then they took off $100 doing it in-store.

 
Just called the MS store about the trade-in promotion and restocking the SO bundle. The rep said that the SO bundle should be restocked over the course of the holiday season. I spoke with one rep at a physical MS store near me who has told me that it most likely wouldn't be restocked, just a heads up for anyone who is worried about not getting one. Planning on shipping my old PS3 to the MS store for the $100 credit and finally getting an xbox one.
 
I wish I would have kept mine sealed now since its limited and sold it. Id just grab a AC Unity bundle

If I can get the free year of live then thats a sick deal to get into a Xbox One. $300 SSO Bundle after coupon and a year of XBL.

 
I'll drop my 2 cents, but during the previous promo featuring 'buy an xbox one, get A free game, get free GCU', the movers coupon did not stack. This is because it is a 'bundle' and while it worked early in the promotion, bestbuy seemed to fix it towards the end of it. If I am correct, the same issue would occur with the free year of gold since it will be reduced to 0.00 and be part of a bundle. Someone chime in and let me know if I'm wrong as that's what I remember.

With that said, it wouldn't hurt to try.

Can someone please tell me what is this $50 coupon that everyone keeps referring to?  Really wished I had pulled the trigger yesterday and bought the white Xbox off the website yesterday.  I could have got 10% off with Discover, but I also need Live as my sub is about to expire.

 
I wonder if they are going to restock the white xbox one over the course of the holiday season. I would expect them to because they would lose a lot of sales otherwise.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if that was the case. Sunset Overdrive probably wasn't expected to sell as many bundles as it has but, the $50 price drop made it damn tempting for alot of people. I wonder how far MS planned this in advance

 
Anybody else order the SO bundle at the Microsoft store and didn't get it shipped yet? I ordered mine on Monday while it was still in stock and it just says "In Process" and back ordered. :/
 
This Sunset Overdrive bundle might be limited but I don't think the white xbox one itself will be for the entire future. I bet in a couple months we'll see a stand alone white xbox one or a different game bundle.

Man I have been pushing my luck ever since I got the credit last summer for the trade in games promotion. I wanted to do it one more time to try and land an even better deal on the X1 at the microsoft store come Black Friday but I don't know, I kind of want the SO console now. Man... I guess either way I will grab it before BF because it will be a pain to find one especially at the store then. I need to grab an X1 before the hype of BF.

Probably as soon as they saw the first quarter sales for the One.

So I didn't realize the Ryse code thing was for those who registered the One as I've been wondering why I never got messaged about it. I just registered it now though so should I still get one or is that over? I'm all for anything I can sell to further recoup the cost of this thing lol.

Yep. I ordered mine monday night and am in the same position as you. Been kinda worried about it. Since rhe bundle is so limited i have no idea when/if they'll actually ship it

used the 10% off movers coupon and traded in 8 games with the 50% trade in bonus that got me 157.50 to use towards the console.

The free Ryse code was for a very small, specific set of people - people who bought the SSOD bundle between its launch and Nov 1st, who paid $399, and registered their system into xbox live (gold?) before Nov 1st. Even 100% of those people didn't get it.

I doubt anyone else is gonna be getting it, it was basically their way of saying "sorry you got screwed out of $50!" Some of them did get back $50 depending on where they ordered it - Amazon/BestBuy for example refunded them $50, and some called the microsoft store and got a refund too I think.

I have an extra $100 coupon for the online microsoft store, you can buy the Unity bundle for $249 or the Advanced Warfare bundle for $349 + tax with it. I'll trade it for pretty much any older digital xbox one game code or xbl credit, especially one of the forza's. Send me a PM if you wanna do a trade.

if you order an xbox one from microsoft store (online or in store) you can also buy 1 year of XBL for $40 ($20 off) which is a pretty good deal I think, might be $5 or $10 cheaper on black friday though. Also $10 off an extra controller.

I set up my SSOD bundle last night and it seems fine, although its pretty lame the xbox one doesn't come with a controller charging cable. Also lame that the "500gb" drive is only 334gb free space with 0 games installed, although my PS4 is probably similar.

In other words, their, more targeted, version of the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Program.

Changing gears for a bit. A while ago, I said that I didn't care about the color of the system as long as it came with Sunset Overdrive. Now that I got the system, I take it all back, because man the white Xbox One is sexy! It contrasts with my PS4 quite nicely. I'm sorry to all the matte complainers, but I feel it is hard to pull off white in a matte finish. IMO, it's Gloss=White, Matte=Black. It really pays off to be a night owl, because I was up until 3 PM EST on Sunday ordering my SSOD bundle at Best Buy.
