Not bad, on average about 5 dollars cheaper than what you'd usually find at Best Buy. Still though, I'm reluctant to bite on this one.

- Lupin the 3rd Movie Pack (1-5): $14.51 (OOS!)
- Lupin the 3rd Movie Pack (6-10): $14.51

Doesn't include all the Lupin movies, but for less than $3 a piece, that's awesome. :)

I ordered both sets less than a week ago and have already gotten shipment confirmation!

Thanks WTK!

Geez, man... between the Rightstuf ADV sale the other week, the Rightstuf Geneon sale this week, the ADV St. Patrick's clearance, and now THIS... my wallet is getting hammered. (And with me focusing on finishing series instead of starting new ones too.)

Well, at least I get paid today... and after I pick up those last 2 Hare+Guu volumes, I'll have everything I need to finish, finished. :D

DeepDiscount is the biggest time suck for me. Those guys have way too much stuff on sale! My backlog from the Right Stuf Sale alone was scary, now it's just frightening. Thanks! =D

Ordered both of the Lupin movie packs. Said they were OOS but ship by the end of the month; sweet. I've got the 12 Lupin DVD's from the Geneon sale I'm still trying to get through, too.
Tempted by that Blue Gender set, but I've never seen an episode before. Any recommendations?
I have one of those mash up dvds where they put a whole series into one movie. I liked it quite a bit, infact I had been eyeing the whole blue gender set for some time on ebay. I highly reccomend enjoyed the story quite a bit. Perhaps my favorite story with mecha and/or alien bugs yet.

Recomended!
Very tempted for Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, anyone see any of these yet? Just wondering how they are?
It's an excellent followup to the average first season and the hilarious Fumoffu. But if you've not seen either of those, I'm not sure I'd encourage you to get Second Raid.

For anyone else looking for some decent Funimation deals. Transworld B&M (FYE, Suncoast, Sam Goody, STrawberries, Wherehouse, Coconuts, Specs) have a 4 for $20 sale going on. Some of the series include Kiddy Grade, Lupin, Tenchi, Yu-Yu-Hakusho, Case Closed & Fullmetal Alchemist.

Might pick up a volume or two of FMA to begin to finish out my collection. Stopped buying them around 7/8 or so

Edit: And all should pick up Gunslinger Girl. Kick ass series. I picked it up the moment it was released in boxset form at BB.

I have seen the others and enjoyed them very much, which is why I was asking about Second Raid. I'm thinking of waiting it out for the cheap thinpack.
Dont forget $10 off $10 with GCO on DVDplanet.
Huh. I wonder how many times i can abuse this before i get caught. Interesting. How long is this sale?

DeepDiscount sale ends 3/23/07. It's very likely that DVDPlanet may do the same as well!

I've made over 40 orders with 5 credit cards. The advice i hear the most is to just wait until the item has shipped before you make your next order with the same card.
How is the service with DVDPlanet? I've never ordered from them.
Their service is decent. Like DeepDiscount, they don't package their DVDs particularly well. But it's usually the boxsets or the tin sets that have the higher risk of getting damaged via transit!

Yeah sounds like a plan to me, i think i'm gonna make one order today.

i ordered two DVD's on the 20th and i doubt they will be shipping anytime soon. This leads to my question, has anyone tried thoes one time visa online credit cards with GCO? I want to order more FMA DVDs but at this rate i might be able to get 3 more at best.

through fatwallet ive gotten a $25 Obopay debit card for free & a Citibank prepaid debit for free (just paid whatever i wanted to fill the card with; no activation fees)

They've got an entire thread on prepaid card deals. Paypal also has the 1 time virtual card system. Theres a link in the Deal discussions forum here; though it wont let me download it for some reason...
What the difference between the FMA movie dvds that have been posted?
One is the special edition and one isnt.
Well i ordered two more FMA's (3 & 4) soooo just 9 more DVD's and i'm done

apparently the DD FUNI sale ends today...but not sure about the dvdplanet one...no expiration date is listed for it o_O but i decided to jump on this one and purchase Dragon Ball Z - Broly Triple Threat 3-Pack for only $5 after GCO :whistle2:D

I want Kodocha, Galaxy Railways, and Gunslinger Girl to come back in stock at DVDPlanet...I've got a bunch of credit there to spend :( but their inventory levels seem to be very low.

I seem to be double posting a lot nowadays but it seems that it is the 24th and this deal is still going on. Hope it goes on like this.

EDIT: Looking through the list here are a few more things that people might be interested in

has anyone else been having probs with dvdplanet? i can't see any of their used items at the moment...and haven't been able to for a couple days....
It seems DeepDiscount already stopped it, but as of this post, DVDPlanet is still continuing it.
I called them up a few weeks ago (has it already been that long?) to see why my order had not shipped and the claimed that Google does not give them the shipping information for about 3 days.

Anyways, before i hung up i asked them how long the deal would last and they said untill they ran out of stock or they were asked to stop (by funi i guess.) Now i dunno if the lady was just BSing but it makes sense seeing as the FYE sale is very similar.
