60% off EA PC Download

I don't know if it is normally priced that way, but I thought I would pick up Choplifter HD and they want $15 over Steam's $10.

It's not necessarily $20 or less. I tried using the code on one of the sims pack that cost $30, and it worked. Alan Wake is $30, but the code doesn't work on it despite being the same price. I think it only applies to old games. But it worked on shank 2, making the price $4. So I guess some new games work?

I really want shank 2 for $4, but i'd rather give my money to steam. I'll wait for a steam sale on it.
I'd pick up Crusader Kings 2 if I knew it activated on Steam. Sounds like it probably doesn't, but I read a quote on Paradox's forum that sounds like it might.

Looks like a moot point though since it tells me the code is invalid when I try it to see if it even works on CK2.
If it makes you feel any better, that was one of the games I tried and the code didn't work for it.

well here is some important details the OP left out from the BOTTOM of the email, or rather the fine print:

Offer expires March 11, 2012 at 11:59pm PST. Valid for products under $29.99 only. Value of discount will be deducted from product list price at time of purchase. Discount is valid only on purchases made from Origin software application (http://www.Origin.Com/about). Excludes STAR WARS™ The Old Republic™, pre-orders, games released within 30 days of purchase, Valve games, partner titles distributed by Origin, virtual currency, game time codes and purchases made via www.Origin.com.

So this means that if it came out recently (ie ME3) or SWTOR, or its more than $30....your outta luck. And i do believe it is code specific as my code is different than the 2 here.
