Alright, so a friend of mine bought a 60GB HDD and wanted to use my transfer kit (from 120GB drive) with it (Copy his 20GB -> 60GB). Anyways, I got the HDDs hooked up and started the software and nothing happened (would not continue the operation). I figured out that MS updated the software used in their transfer kits (took 3 tech support calls for them to admit it). Anyways, they wanted to charge him to get a new transfer kit (bullshit about how they can only be used once). We decieded to send in for the free kit offered to Elite owners (using his "old" xbox's and "his" new Elite's serial numbers). Again, they just sent him a letter saying he needed to buy it.
Anyways, I wanted to know if anyone has the updated disc (yes I know of the transfer kit swapping forums, but I only need the updated disc, not the cable), or at least know where I can get one.
