Well, we've been seeing the motorstorm bundles being removed from stores and have heard rumors of a new 120gig hd bundled with the Dual Shock 3 controllers.

Well Sony announced today that the MSRP is 499.99 the new bundle will be:
80 gig Playstation 3 System.
Dual Shock 3 Controller
Metal Gear Solid 4
and for those who pre-order the game (including getting the bundle?) will get a starter pack and guaranteed access in the beta for Metal Gear Online in late April.

So post here if you find some Motorstorm (discontinued) bundles at some cheap prices... but my gut instinct was that these were sent back to be rebundled.




Hastings in Sherman, TX has PS3 80 gig for 429.99 used. Not bundled with Motorstorm, but one system. So YMMV.
 
Awesome bundle for those who have been looking forward to getting the 80 gig. MGS 4 > Motorstorm and DS3 > Six Axis...all for the same msrp to boot! Now I think it's safe to say the 80 gb model will continue to be a permanent sku. Seems like if anything, the 40 may be replaced if and when a new 120 gb sku is announced.
 
I wonder if by including MGS4 as a bundle game, will the price drop as quickly as it did for Motorstorm. One can only hope!
 
Rumor has it that there will be another price cut this summer on the PS3... So, are we looking at a $400 80gb bundle with MGS? Man, i'm tempted to buy anther one (3rd one, the 2nd one for a friend).
