Advice on DDR Pad

While I found an old thread about this, the links were either closed or too expensive. I was wondering that in the year since that thread any new well-made pads have arrived for PS2. It's a gift so I'm not going to be a total cheap-ass but I also can't go crazy (so about $30).

Any recommendations?

I'm using the Ignition 3.0 (by Red Octane) and like it a lot; however, it's $80. There are some decent off-brand Ignition pads, for $30-$40. I'm trying to remember the names of them. Pretty much all $20 or less pads suck.
