Alien Vs. Predator Hunter Edition Amazon

So I just got the email that my AVP hunter edition is NOT AVAILABLE and they want to know if I want to cancel the order or approve the new approximate ship date of March 20th. I wanted to know did this happen to anyone else here? And do you guys think I will still get it? Also know anywhere else I can get it?
 
When did you pre-order? I pre-ordered on January 4th and is listed as estimated ship date February 22nd. (I used the free shipping.)
 
I canceled mine at GS last night, and when she took it out of the drawer to put it back on the shelf I got a look at it. The set looks very cheap - it's a lot smaller than I expected & comes in a cheap-looking box. It does NOT look like it's worth anywhere close to $100. I'd say consider this a favor & cancel your preorder now.
 
I canceled my preorder as well as the game was getting such mediocre reviews. I'd expect there to be some pre-orders like mine that were canceled filtering back into the system, though it might take them a while to do that.
 
I pre-ordered on 6th of January. @argyle: It looks cheap man that sucks. I thought at least the facehugger would be great.

the game seems VERY "love it or hate it", as evidence by any of the 3 systems' metacritic pages.

i personally love it - single player is very average, but online is a ton of fun. why people blindly base decisions on reviews i will never understand.

It's not like I can return it once I buy it and open it, now can I?

I'll pick it up another time when it's cheaper, and not with a SE/LE/CE that's $100.
 
I think the problem is that they got the wrong development team to do it. They took the team from the first PC game, which was also mediocre. The 2nd team on the 2nd game on PC was the one they should've hired.

I also preordered on January 4th and it still says not shipped on Amazon. That is very odd and this is the first time a preorder with free super saver shipping has not shipped to me within 24 hours or so of release. Despite the poor reviews, this is sold out everywhere, so I hope I get mine.
 
I pre-ordered the 360 Hunter Edition on January 19th and I received an e-mail today stating that the ship date was unknown. I updated the order stating that I didn't want to cancel, but I'm wondering if they'll get anymore in.

I found the Hunter Edition over at walmart.com and ordered it from there. If my walmart.com order ships out, I'll just cancel my Amazon order.
