All CD's $9.99 at K-Mart (YMMV?)

On another board I post at, a member in Virginia reported this:

Today I was at K-Mart and noticed all of their cd's were 9.99 each. I'm not sure if this is a national thing, but that K-Mart isn't going out of business. I know K-Mart doesn't have much in the line of cd's but you may find a thing or two you can get cheaper than at other music stores.

I did a search and didn't come up with anything here. Anyone else know or hear anything about this? All the local K-Marts are pretty much out of my way and I really don't have the time to waste to go to any of them just to find out this is a dud.

Also, I'll be sure to edit this thread with any information I get.

Thanks for the heads up, though I'm pretty sure KMart's CD selection is crap.
