Sorry about that! Never did get around to updating the OP any further.
Every package that had been paid for was mailed before the Japan Post New Year shut down on December 28th or earlier.
Matter of fact, some were sent much earlier and I would not be surprised to find them arriving any day now.
A couple exceptions are NoelVermillion who just paid and will have to wait for Japan Post to open back up next week and Edwin who I have worked out a deal with.
Every package that had been paid for was mailed before the Japan Post New Year shut down on December 28th or earlier.
Matter of fact, some were sent much earlier and I would not be surprised to find them arriving any day now.
A couple exceptions are NoelVermillion who just paid and will have to wait for Japan Post to open back up next week and Edwin who I have worked out a deal with.

You and 2 (maybe three?) others will be receiving more than one package based on what was best for shipping and having the best chance of posters not being destroyed in transit. The majority of the rolled posters were sent in shipping tubes. and a few of those tubes have some "non-rolled" posters that just ended up going that way.
I had my wife double check each package with me, so I don't believe anything will be missing in the end.

We had a bit of a health scare I didn't mention on here (as I really didn't want to talk about it) in which a doctor detected a heart murmur in my son during his pre-kindergarten health check.
Due to that, we spent a portion of the money visiting a heart specialist.
But, after a few weeks - the delay solely due to the typical New Year shutdown in Japan - we received good news that it's not a serious issue and he may simply "grow out of it" as he gets a bit older.
So, I will probably be putting together some mystery boxes again in the near future to raise a bit more fundage for the 60" we were hoping to get!
