All hiphop and iTunes - free songs for Black Music Month
what about free funk music for black history month?
I wouldn't mind some jazz, blues, or gospel either. AllHipHop.com promises "fantastic Black musicians from Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul and other forms of musical expression", but I'm not holding my breath for much more than rap.
Signed up for the codes awhile ago, but still haven't gotten an email.
I just signed up for 5 songs and the codes came immediately.
Thanks, akilshohen...gonna go redeem/listen to these now.

no it's not, and they have offered more than commercial hip-hop. One of the days offered a song from Malcolm Jamal Warners album. You just gotta sift through. You can also find the previous days songs if you change the number on the end of the link I believe.
So Hip-Hop is automatically "Black Music", huh?

I don't consider Rock to be "White Music"...
It's a hip-hop focused site that does review non hip-hop albums. The music given for free has been from a few genres.
