Am I pathetic?
Instead of going to a theme park while it's near 30 degree weather, or instead playing WoW all day which I did?

I say pathetic also:cry:
What? I'd say your grammar is the most pathetic thing in this thread.

No, that isn't pathetic. Some people prefer videogames to theme parks. There is nothing wrong with that, and the only people telling you there IS something wrong with it are the people who assume Any Other Activity > Gaming, especially MMORPG gaming. They are flat out wrong though.

Fast rollercoasters @ 30 degrees outside? fuck that shit. I prefer FFXI over WoW, but both over the feezing ass themepark alternative.

The last time I went to a themepark, it was Cedar Point and freezing. I made a good choice.

You? You made a not-so-good decision, especially considering WoW would have been exactly the same when you came back.

It's near 30 degrees in Missouri?

Also, I'd rather stay inside then go to a theme park while it's 30 degrees but I wouldnt play WoW either. But it's your life .. your choice.

Still, if you have to ask ...

Meh, I don't like going to theme parks on the weekends, particurly Saturdays. It always seems like you spend half the day standing in lines then. Plus near 30 degrees is not theme park weather IMO. I probably would have not gone (then again I wouldn't have played WoW all day either).

I don't think I'd want to be flug around on a roller coaster when it's 30, then again, I'd take that over playing World Of Warcraft.
I think we're all a bit pathetic... Its Saturday night and we're posting on an internet message board.
I am so sick of that assumption.
I am so sick of that assumption.
IMO CAG= High quality entertainment... Most of the time

Am I pathetic?

Unfortunately, yes. You were slightly less so before you asked the general populace of CAG, though.

But seriously, I hate the cold. And I don't really care for theme parks. I probably would have made the same choice. Freezing on a roller coaster vs. being at home, warm and toasty, playing a video game? Gaming FTW.

*COUGHBITTERLOSERCOUGH*

just kidding sexy

Depends, if it would've been you going to freeze your ass off alone, then you're not, but if you gave up going out to have a good time with your friends, then yeah, you are.
I am so sick of that assumption.
Same here. It's not like we all just sit in our house all day and post on here. We have lives... Just because we're on a message board on a Saturday night doesn't mean we're pathetic.

Yes, if you played WoW all day long, from the time you got up to the time you will go to sleep. I used to do that with FF ;-; so I would know the meaning of pathetic. Good thing I'm off the drug that is MMORPGs.

Well, it was going to be for my birthday, and my best friend, one of my other friends, and my sister were going to go, but they all complained about the cold.

All we would have done was go through the haunted houses anyways, which are lame

I agree.

Some of us are looking at porn too.

We're called multi-taskers.

The whole Gamer=Loser sterotype is pretty annoying. The vast majority of gamers I know in real life have good jobs, active social lives, plenty of friends, the ability to have a meaningful conversation with someone of the opposite sex..... They're not the freaks of nature with permanently Cheeto-stained hands living a hermit-like existence in their mom's basement that gamers have been made out to be.
Well, it was going to be for my birthday, and my best friend, one of my other friends, and my sister were going to go, but they all complained about the cold.
So you played WoW instead of planning something else?

yeah, pathetic.

You not pathetic if you haven't come to the choice of going to the restroom or playing another 2.5-5 minutes of WoW, and then only going to the rest room during long flight paths. But it was your birthday afterall, so it is pretty pathetic.

When WoW challenges your bodily human needs, that is pathetic.

Wait, why does everybody hate WoW? I played it for six months or so and thought it was pretty damn fun. I wasn't completely addicted like some people are though.

Right when I saw this thread I wanted to say yes, now I read the post and saw one of the most fun things to do on vacation and one of the worst games in history so I must say Yes. Yes that's pathetic. However we all make ignorant acts in our life, so learn from your mistakes

if the concensus didnt want to go than there is no reason to ask this question. atleast playing WoW is better than sitting on your ass and doing nothing all day. there is no mistake here do whatever you want.

I would have played WoW all day too. I really don't like theme parks. Everytime I've ever gone to a theme park I've been cut in line by a fat little girl. It's really aggravating.

if it was 30 picture how cold it would be at the top of a roller coaster say 20s?

Im puzzled they both sound horrible id say watching tv wouldve been cooler than both. :hot:

If you can handle the weather, then yes.
If you made plans to go with someone important and you blew them off because of the weather, then yes.

Hanging out with real freinds doing real fun shit > sitting alone playing games with online freinds in an MMORPG

I'm sorry to say this, but you are definitely pathetic.

With it being 30 degrees out, I would have stayed home and played video games. Or done something else. Maybe go hang out with friends inside? When I consider my situation last night, yours doesn't seem so pathetic. I went to the Gears of War after dark event at Gamestop, and on my way there I was listening to the Metal Gear Solid soundtrack. Both wonderful things, but extremely geeky. Although, doing what you find fun isn't really pathetic. Yeah.

But that's a much better activity. There was a clear reason to go to that. It was a one night only, fun, interesting event. And the MGS OST is love.

Tonight will be better, me and my family plus my best friend are going to pick up some BWW then come back home and watch Bound for Glory, and play lots of Guitar Hero
