All original credit goes to punkprincess for pointing out this sale. I just wanted to start a thread with more information that I was sure would be constantly updated.

This is an in-store sale and the games will most likely be marked at these prices and in a big bin. Some of them are good for the buy 1 get 1 half-off orange tag sale that is also going on at KB right now. There are many other games that are at these prices, but this is what your fellow CAGs have confirmed and remember seeing so far. Happy Hunting.

Mine didn't have anything I wanted. I grbbed another Dk w/bongos set for the heck of it just to have extra bongos.

Seriously, (successful) hoarders are just bugaboos CAGs bring up when they can't find something at a sale.

Most stores are quite content to let customers bring in a $30 game and take $10 cash/$15 trade for it. So, there's no need for a store owner to hoard most of the time.

I'm sure some people go overboard and buy dozens of copies of games, but they don't do their research up front and lack the ability to resell the games quickly and successfully.
 
Anyone know if KB Toy Works stores have games? I have one at the mall near me but I've never been in it.

For some reason they closed the regular KB down and put the new one in the exact same place.

KB Toyworks has the same sell... probably all the games are gone now

WTF...im litterally 5 minutes away from bridgewater mall. 1700 bucks? fucking hoarders should be shot...Just cant believe that Jersey got smacked by two people and everything is basically gone...sigh oh well...anyone have an extra copy of GT4 they would like to sell me? pm me.... :(

I got Star Fox Assault from my local K*B in the Castleton Mall. Nothing much left there. Almost picked up Spiderman 2 DS and Madden '05 DS, but changed mind. I was mainly looking for Panzer Dragoon Orta and the PSP games.
 
Im gonna leave a class early and go during school tommorow to the downtown mall where kb is, then hopefully make it back by next class, that would really be nice to find some stuff during the day, make my last two classes better. after those classes im gonna go to the big mall and check there, and hit up TRU for jade empire.

No, no GT4. They had THUG 2 (PS2), Harry Potter GC, Spiderman 2 PS2, Mario Golf GBA, Otogi, THUG 2 GBA, and I cannot remember the rest. Sorry.

Oh, they had one copy of Paper Mario 2.
 
I made a brief stop last night, but the lady said someone had come in earlier and wiped out most of the games. Stuff I didn't see listed. I did get Leaf Green, there were 3 copies left surprisingly.

Man I went last night hoping to find a select few. When I got there I found 1 copy of NBA Street V3 for the gamecube.(yes!) 1 copy of Ninja Gaiden(yes!), 1 copy of Banjo Pilot for the GBA, 1 copy of Sword of Mana for the GBA and a copy of Golden Sun: Lost Ages, in which I only paid $2.50 for it. Total came to $39.75. Sweeeeet!!! And to think, I almost bought Street V3 at TRU just 2 days ago. And I almost bought DK Jungle Beat at Best Buy for $39.99. I am looking for that one, it is on the list.
 
Doh! This is what I get for not checking the boards yesterday evening. I imagine my KB is already picked clean, but I'll probably head over and give it a look since it's only about 300 yards from me.

i doubt it will do anything, but the mgr. there suggested that I fire off a complaint email to corporate (which I did) & went on to say that the more complaints they get, the more likely they are to do something about it...these guys are well known in NJ, and are not liked by any store mgrs...oh well, its worth a shot - i took it...lets see what happens
 
Nearest KB is in the Manhatten Mall :roll: good luck finding anything there, with only a million tourists a day flocking through...

So I asked for price checks on them, and the cashier just looked at them, and read the stickered price for each of them. Then I asked if she could take them out and scan them, but she refused and said the prices on the stickers were final. So I might call them later, or go back sometime. Anyone else have any problems?

You should've just pretended like you were going to buy them at the sticker price, and then any ones that didn't ring up on sale you could've "changed your mind on". If employees are unwilling to treat you with respect, then feel free to throw politeness out the window.

I didn't even think of that. She said their was a clearance bin, but it was gone. And that their was "no way" those games would be on clearance.

Just got Broken Sword for GBA ($5) and NFL Street 2 for XBox ($5) for $7.50 total. They were both Orange tagged. Apparently NFL Street 2 was ringing up at $25 and shouldn't of been in the bin, but all of them had a $5 Orange sticker on them. Not too bad.
 
Anybody hit up the Baybrook Mall KB in Friendswood, TX yet? I was thinking about taking a ride after work, but it's about an hour ride and I would like to save the trip if it has already been ransacked.
