so yeah im really freakin happy. not only did i score tales of vesperia and nba 2k10 for $39 combined..but it also says im eligible for another prime trial (3 MONTHS!). tonight keeps getting better! :lol:

Ok, now the my order history has been completely cleared for Dragon Age...

My Dragon Age (Xbox 360) isn't in the recent orders section (where it says the estimated shipping date). I hope this means that I'm being taken care of and they are switching the version I got..

otherwise it's about to go down.

under the lightning deals box, theres a few pictures that say shop deals by price: "under $10", "under $25", and "under $50". if you click on them, some other games like magna carta 2 came up for me under respective system
 
On the phone with Amazon about RE5, the lady has no idea what a lightning deal is...

Yeah but tax and shipping pretty much take away the savings. Even if I could just flatout pay that amount I prefer spending only $20 total applying my $20 credit to the purchase at Amazon.

The guy I was talking to said they don't get too many calls about lightning deals not working, so they don't have too many "standard fixes" the reps are familiar with. By the time he figured out what to do, it entered into shipping for me (damn you, Prime!), but he offered me a credit. Hopefully it works out.
 
Looks like RE5 for PS3 is going to sell out first, and even that is taking a while. Well most people are probably asleep. ;)

And LOL at the usual newbie type posts. Amazing how lazy / illiterate / whatever ppl can be and not read the first post.
 
I've been toying with lightening deal discounts to see what does work/doesn't work, and at least at the moment:

- Different platforms of the same game appear to qualify as different items, so you can get the LD discount on both

- If you successfully claim an LD discount, it will stay tied to your account even after deleting the item from your cart. To reactivate it, add the item through the normal item page, and on the final checkout screen, the discount should just magically appear. It will not show in the cart, and you can't readd from the lightening deal itself.

Possibly totally redundant information, but given how glitchy this batch of deals is being for some, felt I should mention it.
 
Wellll.... I ended up grabbing it at Best Buy. Said it was sold out... then guy mentioned it... I clicked... was back in stock. Got it. 20 Bucks. STILL showing in stock at BB right now... check again.

No games I want so far, so I just picked up a couple blu-rays instead. Hopefully amazon will match some of the other ads throughout the day...

You make it sound like it's a bad game. $15 for that game is a steal. Even if the directors cut never sees the light of day over here (which would not exactly be uncommon) that doesn't make the original any less good.
 
Amazon is price matching (I think Target) for The Office: Season 4 DVD for $12.99. Added that to Boom Blox Bash Party ($14) to get free shipping. Finally spent the last of my $10 credit from Mario Wii.

Well if I make it sound that way then I apologize. It's not a bad game. I love it (and most of the series). It just feels like 360 got an incomplete version.
