Got it for $9.97 from leftover gc monies. :) And I knew it would be $34.99 all these lightning deals they are just pricematching Best Buys deals.

I paid the 34.99. However with prime I had no shipping charges and no tax. Best Buy would have ended up costing closer to 40.00 for me.
 
Picked up L4D2 for a whopping total of 0.00. I had 60 bucks in Amazon credit, so I still have 25 left over. If Assassin's Creed 2 or Borderlands drops in price any further then I'll be all over those two.

Highly doubtful...you never know. But at that point, it's a gamble. At best, they'd just sell it at the same price now. Improbable scenario is it's just $5 cheaper. The worst case scenario is that this price doesn't come back at all.

Gah, so tempting. If I had money for both, I would have totally gotten Dragon Age: Origins and L4D2 for the 360. In the end, I decided not to get either one. ;_; I shouldn't have bought Borderlands last week. :p
 
Well, if you compare Amazon to Best Buy. (From my side of the field)

is that
Amazon doesnt charge tax and has free 2 day shipping.
on the other hand
Best Buy charged me a tax fee and 10 dollars for the shipping of the ps3.

Amazon ftw. (for me)

Also, i will radiating large amounts of Rage if i find that the ps3 bundle that Amazon will offer on Friday will not disappear in the first 30 secs and they have enough bundles even for me to grab.
 
I'm pretty surprised that these games aren't selling faster than they are. Dragon age is still up there and I really expected L4D2 to be gone within the first second. Kinda makes staying up fell less rewarding.
 
I'm going to be up tomorrow at 5 am either way, but really happy I don't have to bother dealing with the Best Buy crowds. Now if I can just find a Good deal on Batman AA new.

I was slightly peeved at th 34.99 since was expecting the 29.99. But then just realized I just got a brand new game for almost half price a couple weeks after it's release. This, plus the 20 bucks from MW2 make this a steal. I love you amazon.
 
Well...I'm going to do myself and my wallet a favor and go to bed for a bit. This way I force myself to miss on the Brutal Legend deal. I've spent more than what I intended today...but with no regrets at all.

Before I go to bed...

PS3: Better overall graphics / textures. But with some slight frame rate drops.

360: Graphics not as good, but no where near horrible...perfectly fine. Has a more consistent frame rate.

Can't go wrong with either. Personally, I went with the PS3 version...but that's because I don't have a 360 myself. Hence that makes my opinion worthless. I'm tired now...bed time. ;)
 
Bit on Dragon Age (will save myself from the Best Buy hassle tomorrow). I want L4D2, but it is still showing $39.99 in my cart.

On a side note....I am hoping for NBA2K10 later.
 
Picked up Tales of Symphonia 2 along with a much needed stylus pack for my DS. Thank you for free Prime or I would have had to blow another $11 or $12.

I swear, there is nothing crazier than jewelry when it comes to lightning deals. I don't think a single one's lasted over 5 minutes and one just popped to 100 almost immediately.

@cRodz Eh, zombies are overrated. My brothers can buy L4D2 whenever. They'll end up being the ones playing it the most in the end. :p

Here is a question: If I return my previously purchased copies of Dragon Age and Left 4 Dead 2 to Amazon, will they deduct the $10 Gift Card's I received after Pre-Ordering each game?

we have no idea how fast they are selling-Amazon probably has made a ton available. when it sells out in a second they probably didn't offer very many.
 
Well I think I am going to be grabbing DAO, L4D2 and DBZ (maybe....not sure)

Then I am going to call it a wrap. Got Tekken 6 LE, Cabelas (gift), Hasbro Game Nights (gift...maybe), and some other random gifts.

Had $60 in credit and sold my Tekken for $40 since I already had the game...so not too bad

Overall big success I think.

Why hasn't my item been shipped yet?
GTA4 was shipped but The Godfather hasn't.

it says that the item has not been shipped.
Anyone else have this problem?
