Total price over $50 I think. And you can add the lightning deals to your cart to reserve them but not checkout until later, so you can combine a couple items to get it there. I managed to get the discover deal on two different orders the last two days.

EDIT: Other posts in this thread seem to indicate that the deal stopped sometime around when Forza went on sale.

I got there personally @ around 2 with my girlfriend, we missed the 360 bracelets, but got 2 ps3 copies. gonna attempt to return one to walmart for beatles Rb when i get off work in a few oh and bracelets were VERY limited. they ran out fast, but there was a realy tall guy helping people get items from the top racks, and i saw a sales girl give him a bracelet for being nice. perhaps it was her personal one? not sure.

I actually picked up L4D2. I had mad credit from this summer so it worked out.... i actually got in on the gamestop deal too but they are going back... Borderlands ($20)and L4D2 ($30) were some of my main targets and I got both at extremely fair prices on Amazon.... My back log is so big I really need to bow out now.... I was going to get Dragon Age Origins but I may just hold off and see if I get it for X-Mass.....

Pretty much; all gaming disappointment redeemed. Since I had the DJ Hero $40 credit, got the set for $60. So even though DJ Hero will probably drop like a rock later, I effectively got it and the Beatles Stereo Box for a combined price that about matches the cheapest I've seen the Beatles box go for elsewhere.

Black Friday has now been a total win for me.

I love Amazon, but I don't see how anyone could say this was an excellent sale. Most of what they did was price match the major retailers. They had a chance to one up them by offering slight discounts on the products that were already on sale OR by offering a variety of different products for sale through the lightning deals. The response has been lukewarm, as many of these lightning deals are staying up for the duration of their availability. This has not been the case over the past month, where several lightning deals have been gone in seconds.

I still love Amazon though. I'll gladly take a price match and free 2-day shipping to avoid the trip to the major retailer. The stress and energy involved has its own costs. Also, they have had some great deals scattered in there. I am grateful to have gotten the Tekken 6 (360) bundle for $60. To think that they offered it for $30 for the PS3 is quite astounding.

A week or so ago it was. It was $60 this week.

And yeah, I got the main things i wanted. L4D2, Tekken 6 bundle, DJ Hero (95 +40 credit, ordering something for my friend with that $40 credit so DJ Hero totaling $55 with free 2 day shipping is win).

For almost everyone, matching retailers (which are BF deals so pretty good) means no gas, no tax and no crowds.

To me, that's one upping the retailers.

Yes the deals today were a little disappointing. But over the course of the past week, I must have bought 20 things from Amazon.

Go to the normal ODST page, add it at full price.

It will be in the cart full-price, but the final order confirmation page will (90% of the time) auto-magically display the discount and give you the LD price.

Does not apply if deal expires/sells out before you attempt your re-check, but the discount is tied to your account and so deleting it from cart should not ruin things for you.

Just return to your shopping cart. It should still be there but you have to click the move to cart button.
