I used to just lurk around the forums checking out the deals until I read this post and decided to throw in my two cents.

Forza 3 is easily worth the full price. If you like racing sims, you'll love it. Those readers must have been expecting an NFS Underground type game or something.
 
Man I was really hoping we would have more random deals like last year. The highlights in the OP are okay, but nothing like last year...

Maybe all the amazon PMs kinda canceled this idea.

Got Ratchet and Clank, sold my PS3 before it came out and always wanted to play it. Bought a PS3 today and glad to see this for less than $20

got batman AA for 30 on amazon, but i used 30 dollar credit i had so it game out to $0.00 with free shipping. also went to walmart and got the ps3 nba 2k10 for 25. then went to 2 hollywood video's and raided them.
 
grabbed 1 thanks for the comments. If my son does not like it I'll put it on Ebay. The used copies are going for around $40.
 
I've been wanting to give Ratchet and Clank another chance, I only played the first one, and at the time it was poor when compared to Jak and Daxter so I passed off all the sequels (ironically I ended up hating Jak 2 and 3).

I hear "Future" is a kind of reboot for the series, so I bit on Tools of Destruction. Also picked up a DVD for a Christmas gift.
 
Am I the only one who always has to pay tax on all my Amazon orders? I guess it's because I live in Kentucky and they have a huge Distribution center here in Lexington.

Yep. It is because there are warehouses located here (KY). There is a huge warehouse in Hebron near me. It is awesome when you order something one night, and it comes the next morning without paying more for shipping. Still doesn't cancel out the taxes, but it's not like you can do anything about that.

Yep same here. Free shipping that is really 1-2 day shipping is pretty quality.
 
For anyone who has bought ODST from amazon, did the case have a flap separating the campaign disc and the mulitplayer disc, or were they stacked together? I've seen different cases and I want to know which one amazon sends out.

I'm surprised ODST isn't sold out yet.

I got it on release date from Amazon and it had a flap. (I'm not sure if they're all like that, but that's what I got)

I'm in the same boat. Bought DA:O yesterday and DJ Hero, TWEWY, and AC this morning. All of which are stuck on "shipping soon" even though I also have prime.
 
I hope the 2:30 PM deal "Learn to cook on your Nintendo DS" is Personal Trainer: Cooking.

I bought it cheap last year for a friend also on Amazon and he loves it.

That sucks.....I was surprised my order was shipped only 12 hours after I ordered L4D2 and I had FSSS.
