You request the exchange for a defective item online and print out the free shipping label (the cost of the packaging is on you) and they'll send out a replacement immediately. You then have 30 days from when you requested the exchange to return your defective item or they charge your credit card.

It's great in that you won't have to wait for them to get your item before shipping out a new one and in my experience they seem to do the faster shipping option to get the right item to you (sometimes 2-day and others overnight) at no additional cost.
 
the thing I find kinda annoying... is those under 10 under 25 etc buttons...

you know the ones that juist randomly list things that may or may not be that price... and don't list most of the items that fit that price... I think it has to do with how horrible the search engine is that amazon uses when searching by price...

I just got an e-mail from Amazon about there Cyber Monday deals, so hopefully they are going to lead the pack in deals tomorrow. I know, I'm hoping since its the last day of anything good potentially showing.

When sorting by price, Amazon takes into account new and used, so if a game is used for that price it figures it in. I don't think there is a way to disable it looking at used/storefront stuff.

Well normally Ubisoft games are only "meh" where AC2 is fantastic. Will it go down? Definitely but I don't see it happening before Christmas unless it's a one off style temporary sale.

I didn't think Amazon was too horrible this year, but maybe some of this is a symptom of Circuit City going under. That place brought in da deals almost every week.
 
I can't complain with Amazon's deals this past week. I was able to get MGS4 for $15, AC1 for $10, and Uncharted 2 for $38. I also picked up Braveheart and Quantum of Solace for $10 each on Blu and got Wolverine Blu for $11. I wish I'd jumped on uncharted for $15 and had hoped all year that Wolverine PS3 would be on sale.
 
I'd really like to see dead space on the 360 hit 10 bucks.

Side note: If that video game lightning deal is a madcatz controller that works on the PC and the 360 and its 10 or 15 bucks that will be a hell of a deal.

I'm just being optimistic, nothing more. I hate to see the fun of what each day has to offer around Black Friday week, so I hold out even more will come as a big finale. If it doesn't, my wallet is safe. I've pretty much finished my Christmas shopping 90% by Amazon for wife and kids, so anything else is just a bonus.

Yes, a good deal of the bargains this past week weren't great (some were), but the other non-gaming deals helped me wrap up shopping which was a win-win to me.

Think positively! It's the holiday season and the time for my job to require mandatory vacation the week after Christmas, mmm.. two-week-vacation!
 
There were some good deals to be had but for me, Black Friday was a major disappointment. Already owning nearly all the games that had the decent deals is a bit of a downer. I was hoping they'd do crazy drops on some older games that I've been waiting on but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.

With Super Street Fighter IV coming out next year for the same price, I think I'll just wait. The fightpad is sweet but I find the game very playable with PS3 dualshock so don't have a huge urge of picking one up.

You serious? Man, they really are on top of things. I still prefer Amazon with free shipping (Prime) and no tax. Their shipping is also much better than anyone else I've ordered from.
 
I could technically get GoW:C for $32 shipped + $20 in promo credit, but... Amazon's PSN store has terrible terrible inventory. Half the stuff isn't even on there.
 
Would the 20 credit just be for the PSN store? After not seeing Zombie Apocalypse I think I'll pass......I can see the GOW collection going near 20 eventually

QFT. CC was awesome with the game sales and clearances. People complain about the staff there, but why the hell are you even dealing with them in the first place? All I did was get what I wanted and left. No reason to talk to them.

Sorry, just being a bit...labely. Everyone else in this thread that was "optimistic" were demanding specific deals for very demanding prices. Than when their wish was not granted, they called Amazon epic fail and less than 9000.

Do you have a link? I don't see this on the video games page?
 
Grabbing GoW and will use credit on Braid and maybe one of the $5 games. I think Braid is a good option, considering their limited PSN selection.
