Monster Rancher is far more Digimon-like than Pokemon-like. The main character is transported to another world and has to beat the main bad guy to get back. However, the monsters in this series are more in dependant and don't change forms to get stronger.I never gave monster rancher a try or digimon I was too hooked on pokemon at the time. I hope it's as good as pokemon
compaired to the original seasons of pokemon and the digimons with the first two sets of digi destined the story didnt hold up to them imo. just couldnt get into itThe theme song is hokey, yea, but the story was decent.
Yeah, did it?Holy crap. I hadn't seen that in ages. Did the show ever end?
Understandable. The story starts up a lot slower than either Digimon or Pokemon, the actual battles aren't as good, and there aren't a lot of flashy attacks. It's kind of like Zoids: Chaotic Century in a way.compaired to the original seasons of pokemon and the digimons with the first two sets of digi destined the story didnt hold up to them imo. just couldnt get into it
