Amazon Promo Credit Different?

So I've noticed that I used to get a TON of videogame credit from pre-ordering on Amazon, usually $10 for any game. Now I'm seeing them apply Instant Video Rental credit to my account, and no longer see any Amazon promo credit threads on CAG.

Did Amazon completely get rid of that credit stream? Guess they were giving out too much free?

It's actually been like this for over a year now. Amazon hardly does credits anymore
