Amazon Promo Credit split across orders.

Can you use part of your Amazon promo credit on one order and use the remaining credit on another order?

I just ordered an Xbox 250 GB and it comes with $75 credit today. Would I be able to use this for two orders or do I have to order $75 worth of stuff at once?
 
You can use it across multiple orders if your first order isn't $75 or more... Amazon likes to use the logic of "use all immediate credit available" before charging your card.
 
thanks guys! i wanted to make sure before i bought something for $20, didn't want to forfeit $50 of credit! amazon is awesomeeee.
