all games on Amazon with a credit

EDIT: SOME titles include a restriction in the promotional code which only allows you to receive ONE promotional credit for an order, no matter how many qualifying purchases you make in that order. For example the game Glory Of Heracles states in the promotional offer: "Orders with multiple qualifying items will only receive one promotional code."

EDIT 2: The promotional video game credits you receive with the sale games POSSIBLY WILL NOT STACK. (need some verification on that still)

Titles on sale with a credit include:

Super Street Fighter IV PS3 - 29.99
God Of War 3 - 44.99
Splinter Cell Conviction - 44.99
Glory Of Heracles - 12.99
Mass Effect 2 - $44.99
New Super Mario Brother Wii - 34.99
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom All Stars - 44.99
Dantes Inferno PS3 and Xbox 360 - 44.99
i just got an email from amazon about my 10 dollar credit for the super street fighter 4 only its a 5 dollar music credit and it hasn't been added to my account should i be worried
No. Amazon also has a separate promotion going where you get $5 in MP3 credit when you buy a video game. You'll also receive the $10 gaming credit after your game ships.

Who wouldn't jump at Glory of Heracles at that? Going on a trip in a few weeks and this, Might and Magic Clash of Heroes, and Picross 3D will be very nice.

Hmm, if this has been asked before I apologize, but if I were to order two different games in one order that are both suppose to include $10 gaming credit, would I receive $20 credit or only $10 in credit because of some "one credit per order" loophole? I'm thinking about getting Glory of Heracles and Assassin's Creed II.

EDIT\ ah it might help if I read the fine print myself. >.<

Order a qualifying game from Amazon.com and get $10 off a future video game purchase. The promotion code will be applied directly to your Amazon.com account up to two (2) business days after your product ships. To redeem your reward, add a Video Games item sold and shipped by Amazon.com to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. The discount will be visible after you have begun the checkout process. Offer valid when shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Amazon reserves the right to change or terminate this promotion at any time. Offer valid for one purchase per customer. Orders with multiple qualifying items will only receive one promotional code. Here's how (restrictions apply)

That makes me sad face. :(

What happens if you just put each game in a seperate order?

Wow that's not good. However I'm not seeing that part you have in bold. What game is that from?

Normally, yes you would receive multiple gaming credits as long as you bought different titles that had the gaming credit promotion.

Well last time this price war with Amazon and Gamestop happened, I ordered 3 games in one order that all had $10 credit on it and got it for them all, same order.
Assassin's Creed II dropped to $24.99!
Ha, I noticed this and cancelled my order for it at $29.99 (with $10 voucher) and then made a new order at $24.99 (with $10 voucher). That's some mean price dropping!

After counting the discount, it's actually cheaper than the original Assassin's Creed!

damn I ordered New Super Mario bros few weeks back when it was $36.99 with a $10 credit...

SSF4 for basically 50% off (net counting the future credit) is pretty good.

holy shit @ the AC2 price and credit. very tempted but should wait for a dlc version

So I have GOW3 in my cart right now and I get this at checkout:

Items: $44.99
Shipping & Handling: $4.49
Super Saver Discount: -$4.49
Promotion Applied: -$0.00
Game Credit Applied: -$0.00

Total Before Tax:
$44.99
Estimated Tax:
$0.00

What does "Game Credit Applied" mean? I have a promotional code for Alan Wake coming once it ships, so does that have anything to do with it? I'm wondering if Amazon will just automatically add the 10 dollar credit to this order once it comes in. Probably not, huh? Sorry if this has been asked before. I'm not all there today.

That was from the Assassin's Creed 2 page. I just ended up ordering that last night and a cheap book (lol like $1.43) for free shipping.

I was really wanting to hold off for a GotY edition or whatever they decide to call it with the two DLC releases but you know that will be released for like $30, so I figure I might as well get it now w/ the credit and buy the DLC separately for basically the same price. Though, it would be nice to have the DLC actually on the disc instead of the hdd...sigh. :\

Yes, the $10 coupon (once you get it) will automatically be applied to a video game bought on Amazon.

How does it work when you have multiple game credits? (I am planning on getting NSMBWii on friday if it is still up, and already have Galaxy 2 pre-ordered).

Would they both auto apply to one game (so I would need a 30 dollar game) could I get two games on one order (a 20 and 10 or so) and have one apply to each. Or will they only apply 1 per order?

Snagged Glory of Heracles from amazon even though its a cpl bucks cheaper at gamestop i figure what i would save on tax now and future order tax, plus the ability to stack promo codes was enough for me to choose Amz over Evil Stop.

Blegh, I bought AC2 on the 6th thinking it would be the best deal for a while. Now it is back to the same price with $10 credit.
I fired off an email to customer service, not that I'm expecting anything.

Edit: I had sent the e-mail just a few minutes ago, and they already responded! After a short explanation of why they couldn't give me the credit, I was told they would make a "one time exception" and give me the credit. Amazon is awesome yet again.

Really? I'm in the same boat as you as I also just got AC2 in on the 14th; before this $10 credit showed up.
Didn't really occur to me to send an email as I figured i'd be SOL. Guess I'll give it a try.
What'd you type in your email?

Essentially that I had recently ordered the game, and hadn't even opened it yet. I could obviously return the copy and re-order, but would appreciate it if they were kind enough to add the credit without all that.

Ok thanks...I'll give it a go see what they say.
I haven't even opened my copy yet either...just sitting in the backlog pile...

I wonder if Amazon has a direct deposit option. I was looking at my bank statement, and it seems like every other line read "Amazon". I might as well deposit my whole paycheck into my account and use it as credit.
I'm in for Assassin's Creed 2. $24.99- $10.00 promo code came out to $14.99 + $10 credit for future video game purchase. Cant beat that!

Hahaha! My wife is very confused because of all the Amazon charges.

I changed the password on my account. I got tired of explaining this to my wife. She will never understand my tricks of the trade! Buy dirt cheap, play for a few months, and re-sell. I actually make a profit most of the time :)

bought ssfiv as a birthday present for a friend but it still hasn't shipped odd cause it usually takes amazon 1 day to ship
No more $10 credit for AC II, looks like the offer expired
how do we tell the credit is no more?

The promotion is limited to one per customer. The promotion is limited to one promotional code per order.
From the "one per customer" bit, I'd assume you could only get one credit total, but since it also mentions "one promotional code per order", is it possible to get multiple credits on one account, separate orders? I picked up SSFIV, and I'm willing to give Heracles a shot if it's effectively $5, not so sure at $15.

EDIT: Put in a separate order for Glory of Heracles and the confirmation e-mail also mentioned the $10 game credit; I'll have to wait and see if both credits actually show up in a couple days.

That's something that's been showing up recently.

Edit: I didnt look hard enough. I see it now on Glory Of Heracles (which dropped again to 12.99 btw)

My 10 dollar credit from Alan Wake finally came in so I ordered God of War 3. I should get the 10 dollar credit since I ordered Alan Wake before GOW3 was on sale.

mmm... When I ordered MW2 for Xbox and Ps3, they gave me $10 credit for each one.... this is the reason I can't understand right now....

bit on Dante's Inferno.. was waiting for a price drop and since I used my $10 credit from SSFIV I got this for essentially 35 while keeping my $10 credit
mmm... When I ordered MW2 for Xbox and Ps3, they gave me $10 credit for each one.... this is the reason I can't understand right now....
I think since Bioshock 2 or BFBC2 Amazon gives only 1 credit even when you buy both versions.

i just talked to a rep and he said i should recieve credits for each of the games i ordered he said that it meant that you only get 1 code per game like you could not order 10 copies of new super mario and get 100 dollars in credit. but he said i should get them by tuesday, hes probably wrong though :( im so mad that i didnt just do 3 seperate orders

Ordered on monday New Super Mario Bros for $34.99, got my $10 dollar credit

Today i pre-ordered Mario Galaxy 2 for $39.99 by using that credit, and i'll get $20 more in credit :)

I want Tatsunoko vs. Capcom to drop to $29.99 and i will be a happy person
how do you get these to stack? i have 2 i want to use on red dead redemption
If you currently have 2 valid credits you should just be able to go through checkout as normal and it will use both of them as long as it's being used on a qualifying order.

When you're going through checkout watch for the option for the method of payment and you should see your credits listed there. Make sure both credits are checked off to be used and they'll stack.

I received my 10 credit first and next day I have available my other $10 credit.

I ordered Assassin Creed 2 Ps3 and Super Street Fighter IV (both for Ps3)

Right now I have $20 credit.

i just talked to someone at amazon and she said these credits are not stackable, when i said that other people are getting them to stack she said she would like to know there usernames so that they can look into that and fix it :( lol crazieness i think these promos are just as useless as gamestops
