Amazon seller question

How reputable are Amazon sellers, generally? I'm looking at purchasing something that I'd rather not just take the hit for (as it's a rather big ticket item) and the lowest price available is from a seller that does have 100% positive feedback, but also only has one review.

Is it worth risking it, or should I shell out the extra 40$ to buy it from someone who is "fulfilled by Amazon"?

I wouldn't be worried. Amazon is VERY buyer friendly. If anything goes wrong, just file an A-Z claim and you should be in the clear. I wouldn't worry about it though, you'll be fine.
