This is a good deal considering this has never gone below $145 on Amazon. The complete set on Blu Ray will probably never happen, at least not anytime soon, so this will have to do for now.

I've had this on my wishlist for a while, and when I got the e-mail about it being the DotD I got excited, but I was expecting it to be less than this.  Not sure whether that was realistic or not.

This series pisses me off.  Season 5 was released on HD-DVD, but I don't think a Blu ever came out for it.  And the first few seasons are the best ones, but are only on DVD.  The series did start to redeem itself towards the end, though.

Hopefully Man of Steel will do so well that Warner will see dollar signs and finally release these on Blu!

FYI the early seasons will need to have the special effects completely redone as they were done in 480p. I could see Warner sooner or later at least releasing Season 5 on Blu with hopefully some of the brightness issues that plagued the first few episodes on the HD-DVD release fixed.
